Recommended new games to try during the summer sale

First, I would like to introduce some new games that you should check out during this year's summer sale.
"New arrival", but this time
After February 2021This applies to titles released in .

Action games

Lost Ruins [2D Action]

A cute girl reincarnated into another world?
A Metroidvania-style action game (a highly difficult death game).
It's more difficult than it looks. Don't be fooled by the cute appearance, it's very challenging. The main character is quite weak, so you'll have to make up for it with your skill!

It's not uncommon these days, but the pixel art, including the enemy characters, is just so cute. You can also dress them up, which is cute! There are lots of outfits, like a school swimsuit, that you can suddenly get!
It's worth playing just to see these cute pixel art!

Smelter [2D action simulation]

A strategy part in which you expand your own territory while repelling approaching enemies.
A side-scrolling action part reminiscent of the SFC era.
Eve searches for Adam, who has been separated from her, while conquering stages with completely different gameplay.

You alternate between top-down maps and side-scrolling stages... it feels like something I've seen before...
Acrylic RazorIsn't this it?

However, it has more action and is easier to operate than Aquarazer, giving the impression of being a legitimate evolution of Aquarazer.
The action parts in particular are very satisfying as you will need to use a variety of skills to complete the game.
This is recommended for people who loved Acr*ser and those who liked action games from the SFC era.

LOST EGG 2: Be together [3D Action]

The egg rolls!

The eggs bounce!

Control the egg and aim for the goal (frying pan)!
When you reach the finish line, you will feel a sense of accomplishment and a little bit of sadness.

Narita Boy [2D Action]

Speaking of cyberpunk?
A harmonious blend of bright flashing light and retro style.
What comes to mind when you think of techno music?
A unique loop that evokes the feeling of mysterious electronic music and electronic drugs.
Narita Boy is packed with all of these things.

It's a world where AI drones fly around sideways, judging by neon tubes installed to create an Asian feel.
The computer used is a mysterious box with an old-fashioned appearance that resembles an MS machine.
A crazy worldview where faith and worship can be felt in terabytes.
Technoswords are like Excalibur in fantasy.

A flash of the techno sword reverberates through the Digital Kingdom, which is in danger.
Narita Boy is packed with all the great things about 2D action games! Let's play it.

Raksasi [Roguelike Action]

This is also a highly difficult roguelike game, despite the cute appearance of the characters.
The screen is a top-down view, and the player conquers areas while defeating enemies.
The important thing is the distance between you and the enemy.
Understand the distance between your weapon and the enemy's weapon, and defeat your enemies.

The atmosphere and screen layout are reminiscent of top-view action games from a generation ago, bringing back memories.
As I wrote at the beginning, the game is quite difficult, and if you make a wrong decision you can be defeated by the enemy in an instant, making it a nerve-wracking game.
It's basically a one-on-many battle, so you'll probably get slashed to pieces until you get used to it, but overall it feels like it's been carefully made.
There are also several player characters to choose from. All the characters are cute!

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late [cl-r] [A traditional 2D fighting action game with a modern novel feel]

A classic 2D fighting action game with a modern novel feelYou can also play the latest game on Steam!
I feel like beautiful pixel fighting games have been making a comeback recently, and among them, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH (hereafter referred to as UNI) is one I highly recommend.

I might get in trouble for saying this, but there is also a mode aimed at people who are at a level where they don't even know what a fighting game is, and it is very thorough and considerate.
Anyway, the story is definitely worth checking out, so if you're interested, be sure to check it out!
If it's in the 1000 yen range, I can recommend it without hesitation!

River City Girls [Belt-scrolling action]

Wow, who would have thought that a new Kunio-kun game would be released...
Huh? It's not? It's a spin-off!
The main character is Kunio and Riki's girlfriend?! And she's cute too...

In this work, Kyoko and Misako go on a rampage in pursuit of the kidnapped Kunio and Riki.
This is a belt-scrolling action game with a nostalgic feel for those who have played Nekketsu Koha.

It also supports online cooperative play, so you can really feel the changing times.
It's a nostalgic work with a modern twist, so I think it will be easy for both older brothers and sisters to enjoy.

Yakuza 0 (Ryu ga Gotoku 0) [Action]

This work depicts the past of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, who appear in the hugely popular Yakuza series.
The story takes place in Kamurocho, in the midst of the bubble economy, a time when human desires are swirling.
The story is set during the bubble period, so there are simply astronomical amounts of money available.
The play spots and locations have also been recreated to resemble those of the time, which may seem fresh to those who did not experience the bubble period.

Although it is rated 0, it is a relatively new title, so the operability and UI are sophisticated.
Also, the stories throughout the series are all great (Well, around 6, well...)If you want to experience the world of men that is not at all cheerful, I recommend Yakuza 0.

KATANA ZERO [Action]

Yep, it's a cyberpunk world again, sorry.
A flash of light in a world of glittering neon. Wielding the Katana, it feels like the samurai spirit is here.
Enemies can be defeated with one hit, and the player character can also be defeated with one hit.
Use enemy placement, object placement, and map structure to defeat enemies one after another.

The game speed is fast and the characters move smoothly, making it very exhilarating.
There is a system that allows you to temporarily slow down the passage of time in the game, but there is also a limit to the amount of time that can be used at one time, so use it wisely.
The garish psychedelic colors, resonant electronic sounds, and SAMURAI's KATANA action that doesn't feel out of place. This is what cyberpunk should be!

SMASHING THE BATTLE [Action (Hack and Slash Elements)]

Common name:Dirty Hack & Slash
However, the hack-and-slash elements are a little weak, so I think it would be categorized as an action game.
Just by looking at the title you can tell it's a very lewd game, but it's also quite fun as an action game.
The story involves the protagonist exploring a hacked high-tech building and solving the mystery.
During the process of putting on the battle suit, various parts were removed, leaving it looking like this.
*It can't be helped, since it's for men. There are some parts that can't be worn.

The game involves conquering maps divided into areas, building up confidence, and progressing further.
The movements seem a little sluggish, but there's a sense of exhilaration in mowing down hordes of enemies, and above all, the characters are adorable.
The character portraits are cute, but the 3D characters are also really cute, so it's fun to move them around.
Personally, I thinkAss…I want you to see it.

RPG

LOST EPIC [Action RPG]

Introducing the soul-like action RPG LOST EPIC.
Despite its cute appearance, the game is quite difficult.
This type of genre seems to have become popular recently, with various titles being sold by various companies.
Among the many options, the cuteness of the characters' appearance stands out.

Basically, you fight enemies by attacking and dodging, but as is the rule in Souls-like games, you need stamina to perform actions.
If you just attack without thinking, the game will be over in no time.
Opinions will differ on whether you enjoy this as a game or find it stressful.
However, I think that's a minor issue since you can just move cute characters around.

NieR:Automata [Action RPG]

In 2021, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... was released, and the NieR community has suddenly become excited, but why not take this opportunity to play the previous game, NieR:Automata?
To be precise, Replicant is a previous work, but you can get a sense of that from the atmosphere.
This is an action game with excellent feedback when you press a button or move the stick, and the graphics unique to the PC version allow you to feel the atmosphere of a devastated world.

Although it is set thousands of years after NieR Replicant, you can start playing from Automata without any issues.
Since it has multiple endings, you can enjoy playing it over and over again, and there are also many elements to keep you playing, so there are many other ways to enjoy it besides experiencing the story.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age [RPG]

The game was originally released for PS4 and 3DS in 2017.
It was later ported to the Switch,Full voice + sub-storyIt is released as a complete version that includes the following.
It was then released on Steam as a high-definition, high-FPS version.
The Switch version was already nearly complete as Dragon Quest 11, but porting it to the PC version has dramatically improved the image quality and made the movement smoother.

The machine power itself is not that high, so if you have a decent gaming PC you can play at the highest settings.
If you're a fan of Dragon Quest but haven't played 11 yet, you should definitely play this on PC. A must-buy for fans of the Roto series!

Cross Code [Action RPG]

An action game set in the world of MMORPGs, it has received high praise from all quarters and remains highly popular to this day.
A nostalgic top-down action RPG. Overcome various challenges by utilizing melee, shooting, guarding, and evasion.

The strength of the player changes depending on the combination of skills, and the strategies they are good at will change depending on whether or not they have acquired them.
You can develop your melee attacks or make your character more focused on ranged attacks, and even though it's a single-player game, it's designed to give you the feel of an online game.

Although the visuals are pixelated, it might be easier to understand if you imagine the world view as something like Sword Art Online.
This is a full-dive game that lets you use all five senses just like in the real world, and I'd love to try playing it in real life soon.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition [RPG]

There is probably no RPG fan who doesn't know the name Tales.
The original Vesperia was released for the XBOX360.
The battle system is a symbol encounter action type.
You control one character of your choice, and the rest of the team fights with AI.

Needless to say, since it has been ported to the PC version, the image quality has been improved and the game runs smoothly!
The game still has elements to add depth to, such as weapon skills and cooking, so I think those who played the original version back then will enjoy it again.
There are parts of the story that feel a little outdated, but the structure is well thought out and it's still enjoyable to play today.

Torchlight III [Hack and Slash RPG]

The latest installment of the Diablo-like hack-and-slash game, Torchlight, has arrived.
While Diablo games are typically played on a top-down screen using a mouse and keyboard, Torchlight III also supports gameplay with a pad.
I feel that the gameplay is more compact than the previous game, but I think it's a great introduction to Diablo-style hack-and-slash games.

The screen is beautiful, the characters move smoothly, and the darkness is mild.
There are mixed reviews, but it's a game I'd recommend for those looking for a light hack-and-slash game.

Secret of Mana 3 TRIALS of MANA [Action RPG]

Recently, Legend of Mana was remastered.Legend of Mana" is the third work in the series.
The original is the SFC version.
The remake of Secret of Mana 2 caused quite a stir in many ways, but this latest installment is quite an excellent piece of work.
It has been converted into 3D based on the original version, and is designed so that people who played it back then can enjoy it.
Of course, you guys are a party of three girls, right?

While the controls themselves are similar to modern action RPGs, the difficulty level is simple enough that even people who aren't good at action games can play.
Even if you get stuck on a strong enemy, as is the case with RPGs, you can often solve the problem by leveling up, so you can get by by just tapping buttons.

Personally, I thought it might be better if it was a little more difficult, but the fact that this masterpiece can be played in the Reiwa era is enough to earn it high praise.
It is possible to carry over data from the trial version, so if you are unsure whether to purchase it, try the trial version first.

FPS/TPS

Resident Evil Village [Horror]

These are the major titles for the first half of 2021!
Following on from the previous title, Resident Evil 7, this is the eighth numbered title in the series, with Ethan as the protagonist.
It's best to play it after going through the whole series, but I would recommend playing at least 7 before moving on to Village to learn about the characters' inner lives and relationships! Since it's the latest installment, try to block out all sorts of information to avoid spoilers.
It's wonderful in many ways.

There is an introductory movie for those who haven't played the previous game, but there is also a great value two-pack of 7 and Village, so if you're interested in both games, be sure to check it out!

Knockout City [TPS (Dodgeball)]

A dodgeball game played from a TPS perspective.
All thrown balls will automatically track the locked-on opponent, so there's no need to aim!
The rules are simple: just hit the ball at your opponent. But adding a few game elements to that makes it so much fun...

The list price itself is low and the barrier to entry is low, so it's casual enough that you can play it casually in your spare time.
This summer's online gamesBomberman, APEX, DodgeballIt's a three-way battle, isn't it?
I think this title will resonate with the Dodge Danpei generation!

Gal☆Gun Returns [Dirty FPS]

It's worth buying just to hear Uchida Maaya's voice in all its different forms.

SENRAN KAGURA Peach Beach Splash [Senran Kagura PBS] [TPS (Big Breasts)]

BreastsWater battle! Yeaaahhhhh!
Let's gather together to enjoy a soaking TPS with various water guns!

Each weapon has its own strengths and weaknesses, so all you geeky guys should choose the firing method that you like best!
Random fire? One-hit kill? Spread? Which type are you?

Mmmmm! Splash!
...Phew
It's a great game to play during the summer and looks cool.

Party Table Games

NKODICE [Tabletop Game]

Mareitaso... Kagura... uuh... when I hear a voice like that or a voice like that... it gets me excited!

"Contact""Cormorant""Chi""Or""This""Hmm" and aim for a high score!
When a winning combination is achieved, the number of times the dice are rolled increases, and the number of dice increases with each combination!!
*This does not support Japanese. I wonder what words are used.

Draw & Guess [Party Game]

Steam version of Drawing Forest!
Although it may seem like it, there are actually quite a few differences.
To put it simply, it's a game of "telephone using pictures."
The person is given a theme and passes it to the next person, who then answers what the picture is, and then the next person draws a picture of the answer, and so on. The person who earns the most points is the winner.
Whether your answer is correct or not will be decided by voting, so even if you're not good at drawing, you'll need the ability to convey the characteristics of your drawing!
*The images I had saved had some copyright issues, so I gave up on posting them.

Unrailed! [Party Game]

The game is set in a pixelated world reminiscent of Minecraft, where you connect tracks to move a train from left to right.
If you just listen to the explanation, it may not make sense.
Using wood and stone from the sandbox-style map as materials, you will build tracks for trains to run on.
The goal is to lay the tracks on the ground and ensure that the train reaches the station without derailing.

It supports multiplayer, so you can play with friends.
Like PHOGS!, it is a title with a gentle worldview.
Sometimes we play with a full party of four, and it's a lot of fun.

Shooting

Orbital Bullet – 360° Roguelite [Shooting]

As the title suggests, this is a rogue-lite action shooter in which you conquer circular stages.
As you can see in the image, the stage is cylindrical, and the bullets you shoot circle around the stage and return to you.
For example, if an enemy is guarding the front with a shield, you can fire a bullet backwards and hit them.

You can carry two types of weapons, each of which determines the type of ammunition used.
Many skills also depend on the attack method, so customize them to suit the skills and weapons you acquire.

The game system is interesting, and being a rogue-lite makes it highly addictive, but perhaps because it's in early access, the stage structure and enemy types can feel a little lacking.
However, I think it's a game with a lot of potential, as it will continue to be improved.

My Friend Pedro [Action Shooting]

A stylish gun action shooting game.
Using two guns and slow motion, the fight unfolds from room to room.
The thrill of combining various actions to defeat approaching enemies is incredible.

The controls are unique, so your movements will be awkward until you get used to them, but once you do, you'll be able to run through the stages and defeat enemies one after another nonstop, which will get your brain juices flowing.
I still can't move it properly, but I felt a sense of exhilaration when I opened the door, jumped out in slow motion, and kicked away two or three people one after another.

パ ズ ル

PHOGS! [Puzzle]

Japanese name:Dog dog』.
A laid-back game where you control a dog-like creature with one body and two heads and aim for the goal.
Use your body's movement, biting, and stretching to overcome various gimmicks.
It also supports multiplayer, so you can play cooperatively with your friends.
It usually ends up being a case of mutual hindrance in the name of cooperation!

There are no violent scenes at all, and the world is basically gentle, so it's perfect for playing with the family.
There is also a trial version, so try playing that first.

Human: Fall Flat [Action Puzzle]

A game in which you control a squiggly, squishy human (?) and solve various puzzles to progress.
In any case, it's a surreal story.

Basically, all I can do is grab things, move, and jump a little, and it's frustrating because I can't move the way I want.
The best way to enjoy this game is with friendsWatcha WatchaIt's about playing while doing it.
You won't be able to stop laughing.

Celeste [Action Puzzle]

Why climb mountains? Because they are there.
It's a familiar mountain climbing action game with puzzle elements.
The young girl Madeline aims to reach the top of Mount Celeste and conquers stages.
When I first saw this game, I feltI wanna be the guy"was.
Recently, JUMPKING has been a bit closer.

You climb Mount Celeste using a variety of actions such as dashing, jumping, and wall clinging, but at first you'll just be bouncing around a lot.
However, because the time between replays is so quick, dying isn't particularly stressful.
The levels are designed to help players improve their skills, so players will naturally become adept at handling gimmicks that they have been able to master up until now.
I think this is a game that will really resonate with those who have played I wanna be the guy a lot.

simulator

PowerWash Simulator

Use a high-pressure washer to remove and rinse away all the dirt!
Recently, I've been watching videos of people using high-pressure cleaners to remove dirt, andAh, I want a pressure washer, but I only have a limited number of opportunities to use it." I was thinking that, but then I found out that a high-pressure washer game has appeared on Steam!

The gameplay itself is very simple: just spray water from a pressure washer to remove dirt.
Each nozzle sprays water at a different angle, so easy-to-remove dirt can be removed quickly over a wide area, while stubborn dirt can be removed thoroughly by increasing the water pressure at a narrower angle.
It's a truly realistic cleaning experience.

At first, you can only use a few attachments and cleaning fluids, but as the game progresses, more cleaning fluids and attachments will become available, allowing you to enjoy a variety of strategies.
You can mindlessly remove the dirt, or you can remove it quickly and efficiently!

Does this game make you want a pressure washer? A Karcher is the way to go!
[amazonjs asin="B07GXDCP3C" locale="JP" title="KARCHER K2 Silent High-Pressure Washer 1.600-920.0"]

theHunter: Call of the Wild [FPS (simulator)]

An open-world game focused on hunting.
The animals you hunt will behave more realistically, according to their habits and characteristics.
It is not a game that requires incredible aim, using reflexes and concentration like competitive or cooperative FPS games.
If you run, the animals will hear you and if you shoot, they will run away.

Nature is beautiful and powerful. Hunting is not flashy, but free and harsh.
It is packed with various thrills that can only be experienced in this game.
Highly recommended for people who are tired of constant fighting.
The purpose is to hunt the target, but just looking at the beautiful scenery and listening to the birdsong can have a soothing effect.

Adventure

Luna's Fishing Garden [Adventure]

Cassie wakes up on an island inhabited by Luna, a giant, mysterious fox wearing clothes.
The game itself has a storyline that you set, but you can play the game quite freely right from the start.
You can also just fish for a while and feel the time pass slowly.

You can also plant crops and watch them grow.

It's a very easy game where you don't have to compete with other people.
The pixel art expression also gives a deep feel to the atmosphere of the game.

Race Drive

Lonely Mountains: Downhill [Race]

A game where you simply ride a bicycle down a mountain.
You will make your way down the mountain using a series of actions such as pedaling (accelerator), braking, dancing, and turning.

If you hit an obstacle, you're out. If you fall from a high place, you're out.
Start slowly, and once you get used to it, increase your speed while looking for shortcuts...
But if it fails...

Even if you make a mistake, you can quickly replay the game, and checkpoints are placed at intervals, so you can play casually.
The control response is excellent, but because it is designed to be somewhat realistic, movements that completely defy the laws of physics, such as turning at right angles, are impossible.

You can load as many games as you like

It's written in the Bible and in the law.
So feel free to pile up as much as you want, okay?
