Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Action]
ANNO: Mutationem ANNO: Mutationem
Introducing ANNO: Mutationem, one of the world's top three recommended games for 2022!

This title puts a cyber worldview at the forefront, making full use of pixel-style graphics and 3D to fully depict that world.
The basic game parts are divided into "exploration" and "battle," and the game is designed in an orthodox way, with players strengthening their characters by using materials they obtain along the way.
In addition to the main quest, there are also many side quests, so there is plenty to keep you playing.
The graphics are impressive, but the best thing about this game is the costume change system!

Of course, the costume you change into will also be reflected in the story.
However, it's a bit sad that the costume changes automatically in the middle of the game and then you're stuck with that costume until you can return to your room.
Battles are side-scrolling.
Fight enemies using melee attacks (weak and strong), shooting, jumping, and dodging.
By acquiring skills, you will also be able to perform command attacks, expanding the range of actions you can take.

I love the cyber atmosphere, and I was totally drawn to ANNO: Mutationem.
Even if it's not a super beautiful high-resolution 3D game, titles that have been created with a focus on the world view can be fun just by moving around the field.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights
Metroidvania + Soul-like.
A mysterious white girl in a dark world. The knights who accompany her are immortal.

It is a Metroidvania-style action RPG in which you explore the stage using the skills of your equipped knight.
There are three basic actions: attack, dodge, and recover.
The system allows you to add the knights' abilities and skills to defeat various enemies.

The game also features a Souls-like system, synonymous with death-defying games, making the overall difficulty quite high.

The look and feel and game system may not appeal to everyone, but the game scenario is also excellent, so even people who aren't good at Souls-like games should try their best to play this game.
STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™
It's every boy's dream to wield a lightsaber!

This work is chock full of all the things that boys love.
A quick explanation is as follows:
Uncharted + Dark Souls + Sekiro
It feels like that.
The basic movement is parkour action like Uncharted, the combat is Skiro-flavored, and the game system is similar to Dark Souls.
Acquiring skills seems to be a sphere board.

Now, the biggest attraction of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™ is undoubtedly the battles using lightsabers and the Force.
The combat itself does not require particularly complicated controls, and you basically fight using your lightsaber to "slash," "defend," and "parry."

The lightsaber can also deflect laser blasters, and you can even return them to Stormtroopers with the famous sound effect!
Fans will be thrilled with the sound and production that are faithful to the original.
And the existence of the dark side, the Sith, is essential when talking about STAR WARS.
Of course she does. The inquisitor sister appears early on.
He attacks Cal, the last surviving Jedi, as an incredible being.

It successfully combines systems that have been well-received in other titles, making it a complete and enjoyable STAR WARS game.
If you're familiar with STAR WARS, there are plenty of scenes that will make you smile, so this is a work that can be recommended not only to action game fans but also to STAR WARS fans!
AKANE
One hit will finish off both you and your enemy!

It's clear that swords and cyberpunk are a perfect match.
There are two main types of attacks: slashing and gunfire.
Of course, either one can defeat the opponent with a single hit.
*Excluding high durability enemies and bosses (bosses will guard)

In addition to that, there are systems such as using skills by holding down the slash button and activating an Iai dash by filling up the gauge.

Slashing attacks consume stamina, gunfire consumes bullets, and iaijutsu uses a gauge, so you'll need to manage each resource as you fight.
As you complete missions in the game, new equipment will be unlocked, allowing you to change your gear.

The game itself is simple, but it restarts quickly and is highly replayable, so you'll find yourself saying "Just a little bit more!" over and over again.
Its simplicity makes you want to play it over and over again, and it's packed with charm, including its worldview.
*Although it does not support Japanese, you can play it without any problems.
Ghost runner
Hit both yourself and your enemies with one hit in 3D!

Ninja + Katana action from an FPS perspective.
The player character is
·dash
・Jump (air dash)
・Wall running
·sliding
- Slow motion
Use these to slash enemies and clear the stage.

The enemy uses long-range attacks, and you have to fight with just your katana, so you have to make full use of the actions available to you.
Basically, if you stand still you'll be targeted, and the aim is incredible, so you need to keep moving the whole time.

The enemy's attacks are not that quick, so be sure to plan your route carefully and clear the stage!!
This is a title that will appeal to fans of cyber worlds, ninja action, and parkour.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge
Who would have thought that a Turtles belt scroll would be released in the Reiwa era...

I think people in their 40s would be a perfect fit.
I played a lot of the Turtles belt-scrolling action games that came out on the FC and SFC.
Of course, I watched the original anime every week when it was broadcast on BS...I'm nostalgic.
In this game, you can even use Professor Splinter and April.
What's more, it supports online play...what an evolution.

Since I had the chance, I played with April, and she was quite strong.
His fighting style is martial arts-based. I thought it was based on Bajiquan, but maybe it's a little different?

Even on normal difficulty it's quite challenging, so even hardcore gamers will be pleased.
For now, familiar faces are already appearing early on, so fans of the original will be happy.

Bebop and Rocksteady are so nostalgic...
By the way, the opening theme is the anime version's opening theme!! So awesome!!
God of War
The god-killing macho uncle, Kratos, returns!!

If you've played the previous series, no explanation is needed!
If I had to explain it in one sentence to someone who hasn't played it,
"An action game in which an incredibly tough guy can tear even gods apart with one fist."
No matter how big the enemy, Kratos will be able to do something about it!

This game uses a TPS perspective.
The game is designed with an emphasis on solving gimmicks, with a stronger puzzle-solving element.
The graphics have also improved significantly, with every single hair of Kratos's beard being depicted with great detail.
Of course, the background graphics are also so vast and powerful that they give you a sense of the power of the earth.

Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Shooting Games]
DRAINUS
The impression is like a combination of Gradius, Darius, R-Type and Giga Wing.

In addition to shots, bombs, and strengthening your own ship, this game's unique feature is a system called the Reflector, which absorbs and reflects enemy attacks.
By releasing the absorbed attack, it becomes a guided missile that penetrates walls and attacks enemies.

Any attacks that can be absorbed can be blocked, including blasts and lasers, so you don't have to worry even if you get an attack that seems unavoidable.
In fact, since the strategy relies on the use of Reflectors, managing the Reflector Gauge becomes important during boss battles.

Additionally, you can expand the functions of your own machine by consuming energy tanks acquired during the stage, and by changing functions between stages, you can change the attack method when powered up, add bits, and so on, allowing you to create your own original, enhanced machine.

The game system is solid, and the stages are designed to make the most of that system.
It's not exactly a god-tier game, but it's a fun game that's easy to play, so I think you'll get your money's worth.
Personally, this is a title I highly recommend.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
Of all the SAO games, this is my favorite. If you're not bad at TPS games, you should definitely play it!

In this game, the main characters such as Kirito and Asuna are not the protagonists, but rather an original character that you create yourself and the story progresses.
Character creation is similar to PSO, but allows for detailed character creation without being too detailed.

The game is set in GGO, the one that Death Gun appears in.
It is also famous as the work that features my favorite character, Sinon, in SAO. Admire her.
Most of the main characters from SAO appear as NPCs, and you can even form a party, so it's recommended for character game fans.
In fact, just having Yuuki in the group is enough to make it irresistible for Yuuki Aoi fans.

The game is based on the battle system from the original GGO, and your own attacks can be performed with the assistance and aim of the target circle.
Enemy attacks are displayed with the familiar red lines, and you can defeat them by taking cover and avoiding attacks.

Other possibilities include three-dimensional combat using things like grapple wires.
It also has strong hack-and-slash elements, making it a recommended title for those who want to enjoy casual hack-and-slash games.
Not only is it a well-made character game, but it's also a shooter game with controls that aren't too difficult, so even fans of the original who aren't good at games should be able to play it without any problems.
Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [RPG]
Octopath Traveler
The amazing game that introduced the world to HD-2D is now available to play on Steam!
It is no exaggeration to say that the release of this work established a method for bringing past works back to life in the modern era without destroying their atmosphere.

This game is a multi-story style RPG with eight main characters, and uses the beautiful pixel art style that was popular during the SFC era.
The line between 2D dots and 3D is unclear.
By using techniques that adapt pixel art, which is often ridiculed as old-fashioned, to the Reiwa era, the game creates a new graphic effect that is both old-fashioned and new.

The battle system is turn-based and incorporates break and boost systems, allowing for strategic battles.
Furthermore, the main player characters can change jobs, and the combination of base job and battle job adds depth to combat.

It's a well-designed system that allows for careful command selection, high degree of freedom in party formation, and can withstand deep gameplay elements such as RTA.
I think this title is more geared towards older gamers, but once you get hooked it's so fun that it's hard to get out, so I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Also, the background music is truly divine... give it a listen!
Romancing Saga 3
Packed with content, Romancing SaGa 3 from the highly satisfying RPG SaGa series is now available in an HD remastered version.
All games are in full HD and can be played on Steam with various added features.

Choose one of eight protagonists and the story progresses in a free scenario format.
Depending on which main character you choose, the weapon they will be good at and the scenario will change slightly, but basically it doesn't matter who you choose!
Personally, I would choose Monica because she's so cute!
Be careful when choosing Katarina based on her appearance in the character selector! The graphics change after about 15 minutes. I was fooled the first time I played it...

The tradition of the Saga series is flashes of inspiration and formations.
The beginning isn't that difficult, but if you don't understand the system thoroughly, you'll have a hard time even fighting weak enemies.
The game is not designed to raise character levels and then fight, so you progress through the game by managing the resources you currently have.

Once you've finished the introductory scenario, you're free to do whatever you want! You can create a harem party, or gather non-humans! In any case, you can freely explore the world!
Experience the classic Romancing SaGa 3, which has become synonymous with games that require a lot of replay value, and experience the Square Enix style from the height of its power!
Chrono Trigger
Introducing titles that are recognizable as masterpieces without much explanation.

Chrono Trigger was released for the Super Famicom in 1995 and attracted a lot of attention at the time.
It was said that we were forming a dream team, but that's another story...
Now, there are a number of systems that have been adopted from this work.
For example, the teamwork system gave me a strong sense of fighting with my allies.

The pixel art was also the best at the time, and it's well-known that the memory had to be increased because the capacity had become too large.
The Steam version also offers a high-resolution version, so it can be played on a large screen.
That said, the graphics, including the backgrounds, were top-notch for 1995.

The pinnacle of good old command RPGs can still be enjoyed in this day and age.
FINAL FANTASY X / X-2 HD Remaster
A masterpiece is a masterpiece no matter how much time passes.

Ever since I first played it on the PS2, FF10 has been one of the best games of my life.
The story, characters, world view, battle system, replay value...
In any case, it's packed with things that make you think, "This is what an RPG is like!" (bang!)

Voice actors have been hired for this game, allowing you to immerse yourself more in the world and feel the protagonist's (name can be changed) feelings so strongly that it was almost painful to see the ending.
When you finish the entire story of FF10, you will be filled with a mixture of emotions...
I highly recommend this as a must-play game.
...How did 10-2 end up like this...

Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Open World]
Horizon Zero Dawn
The sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is now on sale! A must-buy for Ayahi fans!

A future world where violent machines run rampant.
Why are mechanical beasts rampant in this world? What happened in the past?
This is an open-world RPG in which you control Aloy, born a heretic, and uncover the mysteries of the world.

Since it's flesh vs. machine, even a single hit from a weak enemy (mass-produced type) can cause considerable damage.
You'll need to scavenge for materials, hide, and devise a strategy to defeat them.
Aloy has a scanning device called a Focus.
Find weak spots, set traps, and turn the tide of battle in your favor!

Although it was released in 2017, you will be drawn into the vast land depicted with stunning graphics.
The complete version also includes the large expansion pack, so it's a great deal when on sale.
Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Adventure]
Detroit: Become Human
It was worthy of winning the category of games you want to play with your memory erased.
This is a story set in a future where androids coexist with humans, and it comes with a variety of problems.

Detroit: Become Human is an adventure that centers around three androids, Connor, Marcus, and Cara, and explores the existence of mutant androids and the issues surrounding them.
Android police officer Connor pursues incidents that occur all over the place, searching for the truth about what the android mutants are.

Carla is bought as a housekeeper and together with the girl she helped, they head for a safe haven.

Marcus saves androids who are oppressed by humans and fights for their human rights.

As the story progresses, players will be faced with many choices.
Will you steal from others to survive? Will you abandon your allies to complete your mission?
This is true not only for the development of the story, but also for the emotions he feels towards the people in front of him, and ultimately towards androids all over the world.
Making the wrong choice does not mean the game is over (though some choices may result in the death of the player character).
It's okay to choose casually, but make sure you make a well-founded choice.

The stories of the three characters progress separately, but they sometimes intersect and eventually intertwine to form major issues in the world.
In some scenes, the player characters may even come face to face.

Do androids have emotions? Do they have souls?
What would the world be like if we left it to machines?
Detroit: Become Human is a science fiction game that depicts a realistic world situation, and we recommend that you cherish your first playthrough.
Timelie
Control a girl with the ability to see into the future and escape from a facility teeming with security robots.

When the girl woke up, she found herself imprisoned in a mysterious facility.
The girl is weak and has no ability to fight, so she must act without being detected by the security robots.

All you can do is hide out of the security robot's sight, run away, or operate the panel.
Along the way, the girl also meets a cat who travels with her.

Of course, they have no fighting power, so all they can do is run away.
However, the cat will attract the attention of the minor robots, so from halfway through the game, you and your cat will have to work together to escape.
Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Rhythm Games]
Hatsune Miku Project DIVA MEGA39's+
Yes. It's my number one favorite game this season.
It's a megamix of a goddess and Miku!!

Needless to say, the game is a rhythm game that is familiar from home and arcade games.
The Steam version even allows you to change the notation of notes to match the controller you're using! It even supports the XBOX alphabet!

▲Please believe me, I only set it to full performance mode for the photo shoot.
You can change the character's module for each song. You can play songs set in a playlist consecutively, etc.
It has all the functions you'd expect from a rhythm game or character game.

For now, just take a look at the cute Miku and then buy it.
Oh, and here's a cute picture of Miku.

There are various pros and cons, but personally I recommend purchasing the VIP Edition.
Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Gal Games]
mirror2
The sequel to the hugely popular puzzle adventure Mirror is here!

By connecting and erasing three or more of the same symbols vertically or horizontally, one of the following actions will occur: "Attack," "Recover," or "Charge."
Although it is a puzzle game with simple rules, it is so addictive that you will find yourself getting hooked.

Currently in early access, the game features five main characters in two modes: "Story" and "Challenge."
Changes from the previous version
・Characters move in full 3D animation
・Attacks have two types of attributes: "Emotion" and "Reason."
*Equivalent to the physical and magical abilities of the previous game
・No punishment (for now)
Has become.
In particular, the cut-ins during battles are a major improvement.

The story is branching, and you can check the flowchart from the menu for added peace of mind.
Mirror 2 has been improved in many ways from its predecessor.
It's a little less sexy, but the characters are cute and I highly recommend it!

▲There are even scenes in the story where osu!! suddenly starts...
Robo Life -Days with Aino-
Put your feelings into the silver spiral!! Roar the great spin of justice!
No explanation is needed for those who already know this. It has been revived in the Reiwa era.

One day, the protagonist picks up a half-destroyed android girl.

He must successfully complete his cohabitation with the android girl Aino and uncover the contents of the black box!
I think it's probably best to put that off for later.
Anyway, start by playing around with dressing up and training your character to get a good grasp of the game system.

You'll need status to progress through the main scenario and do your job, so work hard to develop it!
It feels like you can dress them up as a reward for training them.

You will need to manage your status and schedule, so if you just keep tapping away, you will likely get stuck.
That said, the system is easier than the robot girl games of the past, so it doesn't feel too difficult.
It's for adults, so good kids shouldn't buy it.
Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Sandbox]
core keeper
We will introduce titles that are in early access but have high hopes for future updates.

Once you create your character, you'll be dropped into a pitch-black cave.
The image is like a combination of Minecraft and Terraria.
Since perks (similar to abilities) change the roles that characters are good at, it seems like the game is designed with an emphasis on multiplayer.

There's no tutorial or anything, so you have to first set a goal by observing what you have and the menu.
For the time being, we should first create lighting fixtures to illuminate the area and secure food for the time being.
Dig through the wall to advance, gather materials to craft, and advance even further...

This is a basic sandbox game, but you start by obtaining equipment to collect materials and digging for wood, stone, and minerals.
Once you have collected a certain amount of materials, expand the area you are exploring and collect more materials...and repeat!

It takes a long time to play solo, so it's best to play with a friend.
The discount rate isn't that high, but the base price is low, so I recommend it with high hopes for the future!
Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Resident Evil]
On June 14, 2022, a major Resident Evil announcement was made at Capcom Showcase.
Information has been available before
・BIOHAZARD RE:2
・BIOHAZARD RE:3
・BIOHAZARD 7 resident evil
It supports the "high resolution," "high frame rate," and "ray tracing" of the above three games. "3D audio" has also been added.
Since this is an update for next-generation consoles, you might think it's only for PS5 and XBOX ONE, but the PC version will also be updated on the same day!
This is a recommended title for players who have already played the game.
Of course, I'm a Bio fan too, so I play a ton of it.
The Biohazard 4 remake has also been announced, so it might be a good idea to play them all at once before the release, especially the RE series.
BIOHAZARD RE: 2
RE2 is the first remake and the origin of the RE series.

This is a remake of Resident Evil 2 that is more realistic and terrifying.
The update supports ray tracing, enabling even more suspenseful and realistic depictions.

I have a graphics card that supports ray tracing, so I tried setting it up, but it does require quite a bit of machine power.
If you have a high-spec PC like the ones used by super popular streamers, you might be happy playing with ray tracing enabled.
However, even with a moderate setting, the depiction is quite realistic, so it should be fine as long as APEX runs.

If you're someone who thinks that summer is all about horror, then this is the perfect opportunity to try out the upgraded RE2.
BIOHAZARD RE: 3
This also received a major update at the same time as RE2.

Compared to RE2, the game itself is lighter and has an action shooter feel to it, so rather than being scary, it's more about defeating creatures in a straightforward manner.
RE3 also fully supports ray tracing. It's also added to the automatic settings, so if you're not sure what to do, just click on the recommended image quality and you'll be happy.

RE2 was dark overall and there was little noticeable reflection of light, but in RE3 I was able to enjoy the power of ray tracing to a certain extent.
Is the correct way to enjoy it with decent image quality and ray tracing turned on?

▲Can you see the reflection of the small cylinder in the big one?

▲You can see the light reflecting off the shiny metal. Long live ray tracing.
BIOHAZARD 7 Resident Evil
A certain new VTuber played it and it instantly became popular again.
However, the things that appear in the game are quite gruesome and may not be to everyone's taste, so I will refrain from using images.
This is so highly accurate...
It's been a while since I felt the terror of walking. If you can't handle horror, don't watch this!
Steam Summer Sale Recommendations [Yakuza]
Yakuza is divided into several "factions" based on the graphics and the era in which the game was made.
・PS2 set of the first and second games
・PS3 sets such as 3-5, HD and Kenzan
・PS4 set from Ishin, 0, Kiwami to 7 (also sold on PS3)
* Including remastered versions
Which one should I buy? You may be wondering, but to get a grasp of the basics of Yakuza, you'll need 0, 1, and 2.
It is a work that gives you a deep insight into the life of Kiryu Kazuma.
*The three titles introduced this time are also compatible with 4K, so even those with the most powerful PCs will be satisfied!
Yakuza Kiwami
A remake of Yakuza that was released on the PS2.
Not only has the image quality been improved, but the system has also been redesigned to match the Yakuza of the time.

The first Yakuza game depicts the intersecting intentions of various people surrounding the 10 billion yen that disappeared from the Tojo Clan.

Also appearing in this work is Haruka, who meets Kiryu Kazuma.

The story itself is amazing and has been talked about extensively, so if you haven't purchased it yet, now is the time to start!
Yakuza Kiwami 2
This is also a remake of Yakuza 2, which was released on the PS2.
Considering the graphics at the time, it's pretty realistic.

This is the sequel to Yakuza, depicting a major conflict between the yakuza of the east and west.
This film features Ryuji Goda, who remains popular for his role.

This was also the work that featured my personal favorite character in the series, Sayama Kaoru.

The essence of Yakuza is depicted on an even larger scale than the previous work, and is here at its finest!
The price is also affordable, so why not buy it together with the previous work?
Yakuza 0 [Yakuza 0]
This work is a prequel to the main story 1.
It depicts Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima when they were younger.

It was the height of the bubble era, when the whole of Japan was in a state of excitement, and you can get a glimpse into the dark side of this glitzy world.
The incident began when the body of a man was found in an empty 3.3 square meter lot, the owner of which was completely unknown.

The story of this work is about Kiryu Kazuma, who is falsely accused of murder and does all sorts of things.

At the same time, a young Goro Majima is involved in another incident that is unfolding behind the scenes.
At this time, Goro-chan wasn't wearing his snake print jacket or construction hat yet. He looked pretty sharp.

You can start from scratch, or play after finishing Kiwami and Kiwami 2, and there is also a bundle of all three games, so if you're interested, we recommend purchasing them all at the same time!
Recommended new products released during the sale period
カプコン ファイティング コレクション
A must-see for fighting game enthusiasts!!

A classic from the past, the heyday of Capcom fighting games!
All in all, this is a collection of titles from the era when Capcom continued to produce memorable masterpieces!
In particular, the fact that Savior can be played on PC makes it the best!

This is the first time that Wizard has been ported to a home console, and it is also exciting that Cyberbots, one of the world's three greatest robot games, has been ported.
By the way, this is also a title that many vampire players have been waiting for.
I also play Savior a lot.

By the way, the Steam version of Capcom Fighting Collection currently has the least input lag.
Is it a different game now...?
Capcom Fighting Collection Vampire Savior input lag.

With the addition of new maps, new swap moves, and various other additional features, the latest Monster Hunter title is finally making its foray into the Steam world.

What's more, it was released at the same time as the Switch version! What happened?! RISE was released late!
Currently, whether you look at social media or streaming sites, you're in the midst of a Sunbreak fever!
Equipment that will help you reach the top ranks in one go is also being distributed, so it might be a good idea to start while the fever is still going on!
