I went to SmileFest in Akihabara [Good Smile Company]

An event hosted by Good Smile Company will be held at Bellesalle Akihabara.
Information on a variety of products has been released, from previously released works to new releases.

This time I participated in SmileFest, so I would like to share with you what it was like.

The hugely popular SmileFest is being held

Information had already been released on June 22nd, but they managed to join in just one day late!
The weather was unfortunate, but it was drizzling while we were waiting in line, so we managed to make it just in time.
As of around 10:30, the wait time was about 10 to 15 minutes.
Because the exhibition deals with three-dimensional objects, people were allowed to enter in a stream to avoid crowding too closely together.

You can also use this waiting time to register your Good Smile store.
If you show the registration completion screen to the staff, you will receive a translucent color Hatsune Miku plastic model.
It's sculpted like a Nendoroid version.

In addition, you will also be asked to fill out a questionnaire to receive a ticket to enter the lottery.
The winners will be announced during the "Live SmaFes" broadcast on the 23rd, so be sure to enter the lottery when you have time!

Good Smile Figure Chronicle

In the area just inside the entrance, all the figures that have been released up to now were on display.

The texture of this crystal hair is amazing!

That's right, when you think of Good Smile Company, their popular Nendoroids are available at affordable prices.
New products are released quickly and they don't take up much space when displayed.
This Nendoroid has been renewed!
And the fact that there are now 2500 different types of Nendoroids shows how popular they are.

・It will be updated to 2.0, and a new work is currently being supervised.

Poppare is one of the most easily obtainable scale figures.

Poppare 5th Anniversary!

Generally, figures that are popular and well-made cost around 2 to 4 yen.
However, this Poppare line is reasonably priced yet has well-designed characters.

The event was held over two days, but a considerable number of people participated, showing how popular figures are.
Some foreigners come to this event, and I think it still has a lot of potential as a subculture item that can be proud of around the world.
Even after looking around the event to some extent, the number of people waiting was quite impressive...
