[YouTube] What is the line for 18+? [Account Suspension]

On the evening of September 6th, Akihabara Base Camp's YouTube account was suspended.
The title I was playing was "Mirror" is a game called "Nudity/sexual contentIt seems that the video violated the terms and conditions.

The guidelines were quite vague, so it was unclear what exactly was prohibited.
I would like to leave this article as a reminder so that the same thing doesn't happen again.

The current status and future of ABC Games

As of September 11th, we are still waiting for a response to the appeal we filed on September 6th.
Archives of past events, as well as videos streamed and uploaded on the old ABC Game Channel, are no longer available for viewing.
The video itself has not been deleted, but access to it has been prohibited by YouTube.Once the channel is restored, you will be able to view it.

What kind of game is Mirror?

Mirror, available on Steam, is a puzzle game for PC.
"3-drop puzzle gameThe game is simple: when you connect three or more drops with the same pattern, the pattern disappears, and you or your opponent receive an effect depending on the pattern you erased. You win if you reduce the opponent's character's stamina to 0.
Various elements such as skills, status, and the state of the opponent character have been added to the game, making it simple yet deep.

It is divided into three parts: a puzzle part, a story part, and a punishment part after the story ends, with the puzzles taking up the majority of the time.
The gameplay is also excellent, and many people purchase it just for the puzzles.

However, at its core is sex appeal, or what we might call eroticism, and the game has an overall pink atmosphere.

YouTube account suspension details

YouTube appears to have tiered account enforcement.

1st violation → warning(Confirmed on 9/5)
The video in question will be deleted, and the account will be flagged as "violation" or "warning."
In this state, some account functions will be unavailable.
I'm not entirely sure which features will be unavailable, but it looks like advertising will probably be unavailable.
*If you remain in violation status and do not commit any violations for six months, the flag will disappear.
An objection can also be filed at this point.

Second violation: account suspended(Suspended on September 6th)
Accounts are suspended regardless of whether they are live streaming or not.
The account was suspended during a live broadcast.
Applies to violations within six months of the first violation.
It seems that sometimes accounts are suddenly suspended without warning.
*The suspension may be lifted by filing an objection.
The time it takes to restore an account varies from person to person.

Third violation: account banned
This is where the so-called "account ban" occurs.
Your account will be completely deleted and you will no longer be able to watch videos.
There is no way to get back into the game no matter what you do, so if you don't want to be banned, you should absolutely avoid it.
*You can't do anything while your account is suspended, so it will likely be banned for a warning → suspension → reinstatement → violation.

Appeals Procedure

If your account is suspended, YouTube willI object' and request that your account be reinstated.
If your account has been suspended by mistake, be sure to appeal.
Basically, YouTube's AI detects and examines violating videos and suspends accounts, but if an appeal is filed, it is generally handled person-to-person via email.

The appeal procedure is simple and clear

An email will be sent to the email address you used to register your account.

Fill in the required information at the link and submit

It's just three steps.

It is said that communication will go more smoothly if you fill in the reason section at the bottom more accurately.

After the appeal

Once you've filed your appeal, all you have to do is wait.
Some people had their accounts restored within a week, while others took a month.

I filed my objection on September 6th, and it has been almost a week, but I have yet to receive a response from YouTube.
Once you receive a reply to your email, it should be quick to restore your account.
*This also varies from person to person, so it is impossible to know the exact number of days.
*Whether or not to revive it must be left to YouTube's discretion.
