Akiba Analog Record Tape [The era is going analog again]
Records and cassette tapes supported an era of analog music.
Then, with the advent of digitalization, we saw the era of CDs and MDs, and now with the evolution of the internet, from downloads to streaming distribution, and as we are able to enjoy music through a variety of media, records and cassette tapes have disappeared from the scene.
That's what it seemed like... but!
In recent years, domestic and international artists have begun selling music on records and cassette tapes, and Sony has begun reproducing analog records for the first time in 30 years. Demand for records and cassette tapes is on the rise both at home and abroad, and it seems that records and cassette tapes are showing signs of becoming popular again.
So it has continued to change with the timesVinyl record and tape stores in AkihabaraI've put together a summary!
Akihabara vinyl record and tape store

Junk floor on B1 floorToUsed LPsThere is a corner...

For some reason, the merchandise display is mixed with LDs (laser discs)...
I decided to look around the store to see if I could find anything unusual or a bargain, especially with Elvis Presley prominently featured on the shelves...

"Swim! Taiyaki-kun"LD!!
108 yen? That's cheap. Judging from the price, I guess the record is damaged and considered junk...
There's nothing inside!!
I was about to interject, but I'm sure I'll get the same reply as Mr. Oba from a certain S*ll Days, "There's no one inside," so I'll keep quiet...

The audio corner on the second floor sells used EP records and cassette tapes, includingOff Course, safe areaThere were bargains such as these on offer at low prices.

(If I had a record player, I would have bought both of them...)
So I've put together a list of record and tape stores, but the market in Akihabara, including the Ishimaru Electric Record Store that used to be in Akihabara, is surprisingly small, so I think there are many people who go to record shops like Disk Union in neighboring Ochanomizu or Jimbocho to buy their records.
SoAkihabara for audio equipment, analogRecord shops in Ochanomizu and JimbochoI guess there is a right place for each person.
