I know it's delicious, but the price is out of my reach.
Fukushimaya's FUKUSHIMAYA TASTING MARKET@AKIHABARA sells organic ingredients and bento boxes.
It's true that most items are 1.5 to 2 times more expensive than at a regular supermarket. The products are good, but the prices are not something I can easily afford.
But don't give up.
If you go between 19pm and 20pm, you can get all sorts of things that were previously expensive at discounted prices!
Treat yourself to a bluefin tuna bowl for just 500 yen when you get home tired!

First of all, what is Fukushimaya?

We advocate for a nationwide direct sales outlet for agricultural products, creating a place for buying and selling and interaction that directly connects the "producers" and "eaters" in food culture...in short, it's something where you can meet people's faces.
They are particular about the quality of not only vegetables but also meat and fish, and offer a wide selection of high-quality rice and processed foods.
It's a high-end supermarket with a different approach from Seijo Ishii.

There are many organic ingredients, and the bento boxes made with carefully selected ingredients are simply delicious.
Naturally, that means everything is expensive.
Considering the housing situation around Akihabara, where average rents are high at 113,200 yen for a one-room apartment and 233,000 yen for a two-bedroom apartment, this probably isn't a big deal for people who buy fresh food here.
However, ordinary people like us cannot afford pork that costs 300 yen per gram.

The best recommendation is seafood and seafood bowls

The regular bento and side dishes are delicious, but I would especially recommend the seafood bowl.
This series, which uses luxurious bluefin tuna instead of yellowfin tuna, normally costs nearly 1000 yen, but it's so delicious it's worth it.
Fukushimaya's seafood bowls, such as the salmon and salmon roe bowl and the marinated tuna bowl, not only feature extremely fresh seafood but also delicious rice.
Seafood bowls served in bento boxes tend to lose their flavor and not taste very fresh, but Fukushimaya's seafood bowl series is outstanding.
I'm tired today and feel like eating sushi...this will satisfy both my heart and my stomach.
However, the price before the discount makes me hesitant.
By the way, if you eat bluefin tuna around Akihabara Station, a tuna bowl at Kizuna-zushi costs 1980 yen. At Uzushio, a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in front of the Electric Town exit, a plate costs 600 yen. These prices are not easy on the wallet.

The best time to go is after 19pm

The discounts will be available from around 19pm.
The fast-paced seafood section already has discounts before 7pm, but the 50% discount doesn't come until around 7:30pm.
If you go during this time, you can get a salmon salmon roe bowl with plenty of salmon roe for around 400 yen, and a bluefin tuna bowl for around 500 yen.
Before the discounts start, there are so many items left that you might be worried about going into the red, but since these are popular items, once the discounts are put in place they will all be gone in one go, so keep an eye on the situation and check out other foods.

By around 20pm, most of the seafood bowls are gone.

The cakes are delicious and the discount zone is full of treasures.

Fukushimaya's food zone offers more than just seafood.
There is a discount zone at the back left of the store, so be sure to check it out.
The cakes in particular are as delicious as those at a patisserie, and the fruit used in the roll cakes is fresh and delivered directly from the source.
There is fierce competition for meat, but if you're lucky you might be able to get fresh sausage.
If you want to splurge a little on a budget, try going during the discount times between 19pm and 20pm.

They also sell potato chips, but they are additive-free and a little pricey.
