2019 Closing Summary Thumbnail
Akihabara BC

There is a lot of turnover of stores in Tokyo.
Before you know it, another new store will have opened.

How many stores close in Akihabara each month?
I was curious, so I looked into it.
The survey period covered the first half of 2019, from January to June.
In addition to stores that have closed, I also found stores that have relocated, merged, changed their names, or reopened, so I've compiled them all here.
