[September 2019] Akihabara Store Closures [Closings/Mergers]

Akihabara BC

It's already October, and there are only three months left in the year.
As autumn approaches, you might think that the temperature would gradually drop, but this year, due to the influence of typhoons, the temperature has been fluctuating between high and low, so it doesn't really feel like autumn.

By the way, how many stores closed last month?
Here's a summary of store closures for October.

European-style Guild Restaurant The Grandvania [Closed]

Opening date: Friday, July 24, 2009
Closing date: Sunday, November 22, 2019

The Grandvania is a coffee shop that has changed its business model from Sumibi Coffee An Korona and reopened after renovations.
While retaining the "Korona Coffee" and "Korona Cake" that were offered during the "Korona" era, the menu has been expanded to include roast beef, pizza, and other items that were not available during the cafe era. Also available are dishes with unusual menu names that sound like they could come from a game, such as the "White Mage's Potion Set."
In addition, the female staff who serve customers as well as cooks are dressed in maid outfits, so you can enjoy the space without destroying the atmosphere of a guild restaurant.
In addition, collaboration events with games such as "Merek Storia" were also held.

Koya, the finest dandan noodles [closed]

Opening time: Wednesday, May 2, 2018
Closing date: Monday, September 23, 2019 (national holiday)

A restaurant located in Manseibashi Marche Ecute in Akihabara.
Their specialty was authentic dandan noodles made with a variety of Chinese herbal ingredients, including chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, and star anise.
In addition to being able to eat four different types of dandan noodles, including dry and spicy varieties, you can also enjoy dim sum and the Hong Kong dessert almond tofu.
It seems to be a fairly popular restaurant, with multiple branches in Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Nakameguro, etc., but perhaps the location was an issue, as it closed after about a year.
