[August 2022] Akihabara store closings
April saw the decision to extend the rebound alert period.
However, Akihabara is slowly returning to its pre-COVID state.

Real Mannequin Showroom Akihabara

Opening date: Wednesday, November 28, 2021
Closing date: Friday, June 8, 2022
A love doll showroom in Akihabara that requires reservations.
The store will be temporarily closed due to planned relocation.
Information about the new location has not yet been released.
THE iDOLM@STER Official Shop Atre Akihabara Store [Relocation]

Opening date: May 7, 2017 (Tuesday)
Closing date: Monday, May 25, 2022
The official shop for the "Idolmaster Series" located inside Atre Akihabara.
The store has been temporarily closed since the 25th due to planned renovations within the building.
It is scheduled to move from the second floor to the third floor and open after May.
The official iM@S shop at Atre Akihabara is currently closed. Standing bar Kushigin 2nd store
Opening date: Monday, April 22, 2016
Closing date: Thursday, June 28, 2022
Kushigin 2nd store, located near Iwamotocho Station, will close on April 28th.
It was a standing bar specializing in tempura and had been in business for six years.
It appears that stores 1 and 3 will continue to operate as usual.
With the rush of store closures coming to an end, is this a sign of Akihabara's revival?
In April 2022, the only information available was that the store was closing with plans to relocate.
It seems that the effects of the coronavirus have largely subsided.

On April 29th, Sofmap Akihabara Ekimae opened in front of the Electric Town exit of Akihabara Station, on the site of the former Tsukumo Akihabara Ekimae store, and new stores are gradually opening.
