One day in December, when it was still warm for winter, I received a quest request from the guild.

I immediately got ready and headed to Akihabara Station.
First, regarding the station exit, it will be easiest to go through the Electric Town ticket gate.
Go straight out of the Electric Town ticket gate, turn left at the main street you come to, and you'll come to a particularly large intersection...

Found it!! That's the quest objective!

Yes, there's no doubt about it! It's the third floor!
As soon as we arrived at the building's entrance to take our temperature and use alcohol disinfectant as a precaution against COVID-19 infection, the monsters were waiting for us.

I'm getting excited!! It's so cool.
Whether you like it or not, your expectations will rise for the food displays and Monster Hunter merchandise.
Now, use the elevator to go to the third floor.
Then, an unexpected welcome awaits...

Grab your companion and head to the reception.
At the reception desk, you will receive an explanation on how to use the store and receive your supplies.
The items provided include a tablet and transmitter for ordering products.

It seems that you order on a tablet, and when the distress signal from the transmitter sounds, you collect your order at the bar counter.
Once you've completed the check-in process, it's time to order your food!
While waiting for the food to be prepared, I decided to explore the restaurant.

A hunter needs something to hunt monsters...It's a weapon.
One of the attractions of the Monster Hunter Bar is the life-size displays of weapons that appear in the game!
Here are some of the weapons on display in the store!
By the way, touching the exhibits inside the store is not allowed.
As a first-class hunter, it is common sense to act in a way that does not cause trouble for other hunters (customers).

Although the Great Recovery Potion concoction failed, next I'll restore my stamina with some grilled meat!

Defeat the Elder Dragon "Phantom Beast Kirin"

Finally, defeat the legendary Elder Dragon, the Mythical Beast Kirin!
This is a highly dangerous Elder Dragon species, so be careful when you attack.
I ordered the "Giraffe Lightning Parfait" from the tablet menu.

Corn horns, a pure white cream body, and blue lightning flashes made from candy.
It has the majestic appearance of an Elder Dragon! No opponent will be short of it!

However, solo hunting (eating it all by yourself) is difficult.
It's surprisingly large. It's hard to see in the picture, but there are three ice cream cones inside.
It seems like it would be best to eat it all as a party (two or more people).
It wasn't big enough to be eaten casually as a dessert.

There were many efforts made to make the event enjoyable even for those unfamiliar with the latest Monster Hunter game, such as an exhibition of weapons that have appeared in previous games.
Furthermore, as of 2020, not only can you rent out the latest game, Iceborne, to play in-store, but they also rent out previous games on PSP and 3DS, so even former hunters can have plenty of fun!

Although we were only able to order four dishes this time, they were all highly authentic and interesting dishes.
