I think trading card shops are probably the second most common thing in Akihabara right now, next to maid cafes.
In the past, on the release date of a new product, a card shop in Akihabara was flooded with people hoping to buy it, and the police were called in, which is still fresh in our memory. Recently, TCGs have been gaining popularity due to hype on YouTube and other platforms, and the prices of popular items are rising rapidly.

A card shop near the intersection where Bellesalle Akihabara is located.
MTG (Magic: The Gathering), Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon cards, etc.

Originally, the cards were sold on the walls of the corridors inside Radio Kaikan before it was rebuilt.

Kabe no Mise Akihabara Ground Floor Store - Shops along Chuo Dori

Kabe's stores have both underground and above ground locations.

A general card shop located near Junk Street that handles a variety of cards.
The sales floor is spacious, allowing you to browse products stress-free.
It has a dueling space with over 100 seats.

Denko Sekka - Trading card vending machine specialty store

Located one block off Chuo-dori, this 24-hour trading card vending machine specialty store is open 24 hours a day.
The purchase specialty store will open on June 17, 2023, and the vending machine specialty store will have its grand opening on June 24.
Next to the vending machine store there is also a specialty buy-back store that only accepts purchases.
The cards they sell are Pokemon cards.

Tokyo MTG Akihabara store - Near Myojin Shrine, MTG specialty store

This MTG specialty store is located down an alley off the old Nakasendo road near Kanda Myojin Shrine.

Hareruya Akihabara Store – MTG Specialty Store

This MTG specialty store is located on the 8th floor of the Takarada Chuo Dori Building, just outside the Electric Town exit of JR Akihabara Station.
Tournaments are held every day, including weekdays and weekends.
The play space has 32 seats.

Hareruya 2 – Pokémon card specialty store

Located behind Onoden is Hareruya 2, a Pokémon card specialty store.
There are six floors and 88 free play spaces.

It will open in May 2024 on the site of the former Blue Rocket Akihabara store.

Magi Akihabara store - Across from Don Quijote along Chuo Dori

The store opened along Chuo Street in May 2022.

Card shops are scattered all over Akihabara, and if you wanted to see them all, you would have to walk around the entire area.
Also, there are eight card shops inside Radio Kaikan in front of Akihabara Station, so much so that I think it might be a good idea to rename it Card Kaikan.
