A quick introduction to Uniqlo stores around Akihabara

There are two Uniqlo stores near Akihabara Station.
One is the UNIQLO Atre Akihabara 1 store, located on the 3rd floor of Atre 1 at the Electric Town exit.
The other is the Uniqlo Akihabara Trim store located at the central ticket gate.
The two stores are only 120 meters apart in a straight line, and one might think that they don't need to be located so close together, but each has its own unique characteristics, so let's compare them.

UNIQLO Yodobashi Akiba Store to open in spring 2023

The UNIQLO Yodobashi Akiba store, which opened on April 14, 2023, is larger than the previous UNIQLO store in Akihabara and offers a wider selection of products.

The super-large Uniqlo Okachimachi store is located in front of Okachimachi Station, one stop away.

Even though it's only one station away, you can walk between Akihabara and Okachimachi in about 10 minutes.

By the way, the Okachimachi store is also located in the same building as GU, Uniqlo's sister brand.
The first to fourth floors are occupied by Uniqlo, and the fifth and sixth floors are occupied by GU, making it the size of a super-large store.
While Uniqlo caters to people of all ages and genders, GU's target demographic is people in their teens and twenties.
If you're looking for something trendy and cheaper than Uniqlo, it's definitely worth a visit.

Most of the stores introduced here have unmanned or self-checkout registers.
Simply place the item you want to purchase in the designated area and the price will be displayed on the tablet screen.
It's also revolutionary because you can choose from a variety of payment methods, including cash, credit, d-payment, and PayPay.
You may feel confused at first, but once you get used to it, you'll find it so easy and convenient that you'll only want to pay at the self-checkout.

The Akihabara Trim store is open all year round from 11:00 to 22:00.

If you want to quickly buy seasonal items while getting on or off the train, Uniqlo Atre Akihabara 1 is by far the quickest option.
The stores are small to medium in size, and the product lineup is limited to best-selling items for adults. Seasonal items are displayed at the front, so they are easy to find.
They also have a standard line of underwear, shirts, and pants, so if you're looking to quickly purchase staple items, this is a better choice as it's less crowded.
Since you can use the pick-up service anywhere, we recommend this option if you are picking up items ordered online, taking into account the congestion.
Please note that the entire building closes at 21pm.
