What brings you to Akihabara?
The location is well-connected by JR and Tokyo Metro, so many people come by train, but many people who buy home appliances also come by car.
On weekends, there are incredibly long lines behind UDX, and it gets so crowded that it feels like the waiting lines at an amusement park.
There are quite a few spaces available in the coin parking lots on weekdays, but they get very crowded on weekends and holidays.

But I understand the desire to go by car.
It's one thing if it's a large white appliance, but if it's something like a display or a rice cooker, I'd want to take it home with me.

Parking lots in Akihabara that can be reserved in advance

If possible, you want to be sure you can park, so you should make a reservation in advance.
There is a reservation fee, but it's much better than waiting aimlessly in line.
There are many parking lots within a five-minute walk from the station that can be reserved in advance, so be sure to check them out.

Akihabara UDX Parking

This is a parking lot located underground in the huge UDX building in Akihabara, which goes without saying.
The parking capacity is an incredible 785 cars, but if you don't make a reservation you'll have to wait in long lines on weekends and holidays.

Fuji Soft Building Parking Lot

It is located a little way along the train tracks towards Okachimachi.
It is located in the basement of the headquarters building of Fujisoft, a major system integrator, and because it is at the back, you can find a parking space fairly quickly even on weekends without a reservation, but you should still be careful, so it is best to make a reservation if possible.

It's a parking lot inside Daibiru.
It's also extremely convenient as it's right in front of the station.

Trust Park Akihabara Radio HallAkihabara Radio Kaikan Parking Lot

This is the best location if you want to do a lot of shopping at Radio Kaikan.
Business hours are from 9:00 to 21:00, but they close a little earlier.
The parking lot is small, so if you want to be sure of a spot, you'll need to make a reservation.

It rarely fills up, but this parking lot is useful when Yodobashi Akiba's parking lot is full.
If you shop at Yodobashi Akiba until the last minute, you won't be able to leave!
