AnimeJapan 2023: Lots of new anime exhibits!! [AnimeJapan]

I went to AnimeJapan 2023, the world's largest anime event, which is being held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 25th to 27th, 2023, and I'd like to introduce some of the booths and stage events that caught my eye!

Local foods will also be on sale at the anime tourism booth!

AnimeJapan 2023 stage event

Demon Slayer Stage

This year there are many stages for popular anime works, but I was able to take part in the stage performance of the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," which is extremely popular both in Japan and overseas, so I'd like to share with you what I saw!

・Hanae Natsuki, who plays Kamado Tanjiro.
・Kitou Akari, who plays Kamado Nezuko.
・Kengo Kawanishi, who plays Muichiro Tokito.
・Hanazawa Kana, who plays Kanroji Mitsuri.
The above voice actors appeared on stage.

The first half of the stage was a look back talk while watching recording footage of the voice actors who attended the stage greeting.
When the footage of the stage greeting in Taipei was shown, Hanazawa's cute V-flicks in Chinese were shown, and Kawanishi also gave fans a kiss as a fan service.

In the second half, there will be talk about the TV anime "Swordsmith Village Arc" which will start on Sunday, April 9th, and the CD jacket containing the opening and ending themes will be revealed for the first time.

There was also information about the special edition of the "Entertainment District Arc" that will be broadcast on Saturday Premium, and the first public appearance of the cover illustration for the second illustration collection centered on the "Infinity Train Arc," and the event ended in great success.

"Animas" Talk Stage - In 2023, The Idolmaster is serious about anime -

The stage event "Animas Talk Stage - In 2023, The Idolmaster is serious about anime" will introduce anime from the Idolmaster series, and cast members from each anime will be on stage.

Amina Sato and Haruka Terui from U149, and Haruka Yamazaki and Ibuki Kido from Million Live gave a talk about their respective anime.
The audience erupted in cheers when it was revealed that each anime had prepared an "incredible" number of new songs.

During the introduction part for Shiny Colors, Karin Isobe appeared as a secret guest.
The unexpected guest's appearance caused a stir in the venue.

After the anime introduction part, there was a talk corner titled "Serious Dice Talk."
The audience erupted in applause when each cast member gave a passionate answer to the question, "What do you really pay attention to when playing your role?"

The event ended with a chorus that was a slightly modified version of the standard line at iM@S events.
