"Famitsu Bunko 20th Anniversary Print Exhibition" to be held!!

The day I took the photos was a weekday, right after opening time, so I was the only customer there. Photography was not permitted inside the store, so I could only take photos of the exterior. The main building is on the fourth floor of the building, and you can go up by elevator. At first, it was easy to find the annex because it's along the road, but I got lost because I didn't know where the main building was.

As soon as the elevator opens, you'll find yourself in the sales area for merchandise such as tapestries and clear files created by the illustrators!

The Akihabara main store will be holding the exhibition from January 10th (Thursday) to January 14th (Monday, national holiday). The event I went to this time was an exhibition and sale of prints.
First of all, what is a "print"?
When I first heard about it, I also wondered what was different from the original.

The staff at the print exhibition gave me a detailed explanation. When I entered, I was the only visitor because it was a weekday morning.

At the very least, it was awesome!!

As it was an exhibition and sales event, prices were listed, and when I looked, they were indeed expensive.
However, after listening to the store clerk and seeing the illustrator's artwork up close, I realized that it was only natural to pay that much. In fact, I thought that with this quality, and the fact that I could display it for the rest of my life, the price was actually quite reasonable.

In the end, the store clerk I talked to recommended that I buy it, but I gave up because I thought the price was too high for me at the moment.
Someday I'd like to have one of these displayed in my home.

I managed to get the set of three postcards that came as an admission bonus, and I was able to see some wonderful artworks, so it was a very happy time.
