C101 December 30, 2022 Winter Comiket Day 1 Participation Report

The end of the year is coming...and Winter Comiket is coming!
That's why I participated in C101.
We will report on the state of Comiket as restrictions due to the coronavirus are easing.

Comic Market 100 Day 2 Report [August 14, 2022]

I went to C101 at the 2023 Winter Comiket

C101 Before the opening

We arrived near Tokyo Big Sight around 9:00.
I decided to check out the surroundings.

They're lined up.
C101 opens at 10:30 and admission is in the order of tickets, but there are already people waiting in line to enter.C100This indicates that there are more participants.
These are the waiting lines for the West and South Buildings.
There is a separate waiting line for the East Building, so even more people will be waiting to enter the venue.

C101 Venue

The west, east and south are all very busy.
It's not as good as before the coronavirus, butWinter Comiket C99It seemed like there were more than twice as many participants.

I found this at a convenience store inside Tokyo Big Sight.

The previous winter Comiket,C99It was quiet then.Corporate BoothsAlso revived!

Otaku were wiggling around in front of the virtual DJ booth.

Free distribution of energy drinksIs also very popular.

There was a waiting line outside.
Wouldn't it be quicker to go buy it?

The VTuber booths were particularly popular, so much so that you couldn't move once you got close.

C101 Comiket Full Revival?

To be honest, there was an undeniable decline in power at C99 and C100, but this year's C101 was lively and I got the feeling that Comiket had returned.
I can only hope that this C101 will be the signal for the revival of Comiket.
