C101 (Winter Comiket)

Waiting line to enter.
There were long lines in both the east and west directions. There were more people than at the summer Comiket that year.

Also, for the first time, I entered the venue before it opened, and this view...it's amazing, you can really see how many people there were.

Cosplay Area

This time, the cosplay area will be open
East 7 and 8 areas
・Garden area
・It is a rooftop area.
The number of people varies depending on when and where you go.
If there is a cosplayer you are looking for, it's best to head there immediately.

The rooftop exhibition hall was packed with people.

It was relatively easy to take photos indoors in East 7, outdoors in East 8, and in the garden area, but the rooftop exhibition area was packed with people.

It was difficult to form a line, and even moving a little bit was difficult because of the sheer number of people.
Depending on the location, you may not be able to take a wide shot and can only take a bust-up shot...
It's a great spot for cosplay photography, but if you have a lot of equipment, it seems like just getting around would be a lot of work.

Two days that mark the end of the year for cosplayers

What was most striking about this Comiket was the sheer number of people there.
When I think about whether it's better for cosplay photography now or before...it's hard to say when I think about the rooftop exhibition hall.
However, for cosplayers, these two days will be their last cosplay of the year, so they will be approaching the event with great enthusiasm.
We hope that this year's great success will continue in the future, and let's continue being cosplayers in 2023!
