Temperature and conditions on the first day

Where did the "extremely cold" winter Comiket is famous for go?! It wasn't that cold, which surprised me, so I'm sure I'll win today! That's just an excuse, it's actually warmer than average, not down jacket-worthy, but it's still just plain cold!
However, the weather was clear, so there was no need for an umbrella! What a relief.
When I spoke to some cosplayers, it seemed like it was quite hot in the cosplay area outside... It's hot, but not too hot, so you'll need clothes that you can take off!!!!!

Crowdedness around 9:00 AM

Although it was crowded with people at the moment, the station wasn't that crowded.
However, there is a line for the restroom, so go to the station first before coming here!!! (As of 9:30)

The morning queue

This is the waiting line. There are people all the way to the back! Everyone is an otaku! (As of 9:30)

The queue in the afternoon

By around 12:00 p.m., the queue had already stretched all the way to the station.
If you want to wait in line for the afternoon admission, it might be better to get off at Aomi Station or Tokyo Teleport Station, considering the length of the line!!!!!

A look back at the first day of the 2025 Winter Comiket

Thank you for your hard work at today's event!! However, I have a warning for everyone participating tomorrow. Don't let your guard down just because it's winter...You'll seriously die (physically).

First of all, inside the venue, the otakus are so enthusiastic that even though it's winter, saying it's "hot" is like a bug! It's like a steam bath... If you don't wear clothes that are easy to take off and put on, you'll end up drenched in sweat and boiled calluses (as someone who has experienced it says). But once you step outside, the cold wind from the sea blows mercilessly.Extreme Cold Hell🥶 The queue in the afternoon was also crazy, and no matter how sunny it was, you had better be prepared for the cold weather with the "don't underestimate winter" mentality, or you'll be out of luck. (I think it's more difficult to regulate your body temperature in this season than in summer.)

Also, once you get inside, it's so vast that you're bound to panic. To avoid ending up like, "Here we go, I know what it's like not knowing where to go (blank stare)," it's best to plan your route in advance!!
