I went to Akihabara's Sister Con Cafe Clarice Belle

Akihabara BC

Akihabara is now in the age of maid cafe exploration.
When it comes to maid cafes in Tokyo, Shinjuku and Akihabara are the two big ones.

So this time, I went to the sister-concept maid cafe "Claris Veil" in Akihabara for the first time in a while, so I would like to share with you the atmosphere of the shop.

What is Akihabara Sister Cafe Claris Veil?

The shop is located just past the Lawson convenience store on Junk Street, in the building next to Akibao.
There is a digital signage sign in front of the building so you can easily find it.
Clarice Veil, our destination for today, is located on the third floor of this building.
There are floor signs so you won't get lost.

Since it is a sister concept, the entrance has a slightly chic feel.
It has a hidden gem vibe that only those in the know will know about.

So, today let's enjoy Akihabara at Clarice Veil.

The interior of the store is designed to resemble a nun's church.

The first thing that caught my eye when I entered the store was the church and cross sculpture.

And the sisters dressed in religious habit.
There are many maid cafes in Akihabara, but I have never seen a sister-concept shop like Clarice Veil.
She is also wearing a veil. The uniform is really cute.

And this is something that I personally found very interesting.
The blue container in the center of the image... I have a long-standing memory of drinking this...

First, a toast. Beautifully presented drinks and small side dishes.

Clarice Veil offers an all-you-can-drink option.

The drink menu is extensive, so you can choose according to your mood that day.
Of course, soft drinks are also available, so even if you don't drink alcohol, you can still enjoy yourself.

Since I had come all the way to a maid cafe, I decided to order a recommended drink.
I asked for something that would look good on screen, which was an unreasonable request, but I'm grateful that they were happy to accept it.
Here's the finished drink! It looks amazing!

So, we hold the familiar toast ceremony that is common at maid cafes.
At Clarice Vale, we toast with a cross and a glass.

The two sisters who gave the toast and spoke with us this time were:
Ramu-san, a self-proclaimed middle-ranking sister in the shop

Tsumugi-san, a new employee who just joined the store (has the period ended?)

Clarice Belle also offers small side dishes that change daily.
I was surprised to hear that this was available for free, so of course I ordered it.
The side dish on this day was yakitori. Speaking of alcohol, yakitori is the best!

Today's small dishes are written on a board inside the store, and the illustrations are super cute.

In addition to this, there is also a full food menu, so it is great for those who want some snacks to go with their drinks.
It's true that there are more and more maid cafes these days where you can eat delicious food.
The conversation was fun and the drinks were delicious, so I ended up having a second drink...it's okay for today, right?

While I was drinking, I looked at the menu and found an item that caught my eye.
"Clarice's Bell" is a bell that only the brave can ring.

Reading the description, it seems that this is indeed a bell that only the bravest can ring.
And apparently it's okay to ring this bell without saying anything...if you go that far it makes you feel like a real tough guy.

This isn't just a setting, but a realistic bell that can be rung, so if you're interested, why not give it a try?

Check-ins available only at con cafes

Speaking of con cafes, of course the Instax is a must.
I also took some decent photos with a Polaroid camera.
Claricevale has an area called a "photo spot."
If you're going to take a photo with an Instax camera, you want to take it somewhere that looks great, right? Of course, you'll want to take it at a photo spot.

You can also doodle on it to keep as a memory of today.

The way it was displayed may have been a little malicious, but it turned out to be a cute photo, so that's fine!!

The unusual sister concept, Clarice Vale, was super fun

The bright interior is rare in the con cafe area, where there are many shops with low lighting, and I felt that it was a place where you could enjoy drinking and talking.
The concept of sisters is rare in Akihabara, and it gave me a fresh feeling after a long time.
The objects inside the store give off a church and nunnery vibe, making it a recommended store for those who want to experience a strong concept.

We are now entering the long holiday season, so if you are in Akihabara and would like to try a con cafe, or if you are a beginner who has never been to a con cafe but is curious, we highly recommend Clarice Veil.
