Comiket starts early in the morning! The Rinkai Line's Kokusai-Tenjijo Station and the Yurikamome Line's Tokyo Big Sight Station are filled with participants heading to their destinations from early in the morning.

When we arrived around 9:30am, a long line had already formed.

Summers in Japan are getting hotter and hotter every year. The waiting lines at Comiket are especially tough, especially when combined with the glare from the asphalt. Participants came prepared with their own unique "heat-fighting gear," including portable fans, cooling sheets, parasols, and large-capacity drinks.

Particularly popular were the booths of KADOKAWA, NIKKE, Gakuen Idolmaster, etc. With gorgeous displays, limited edition goods for sale, and novelty giveaways, there were always large crowds of people.

At the Gakuen Idolmaster booth, there were many elaborate productions, such as a live performance being projected and actual practice uniforms being displayed, which created a lively atmosphere in the venue!

Another highlight of Comiket is the high-quality cosplayers!

The cosplay areas, including the garden and rooftop exhibition area, were filled with photographers and gallery attendees. This year, an official cosplayer showed off her swimsuit cosplay at the NIKKE booth, which was a real treat for the eyes.

Of course, you need to be in top physical condition to enjoy yourself to the fullest! There are several rest areas set up within the Comiket venue, so we'd like to introduce them to you!
