Comic Market 99, Cosplayer Photos [East Hall]

It's been a while since Comiket was held.
In this article, I will post photos of cosplayers I saw at Comic Market 99.
We've also included links to the cosplayers whose social media and online spaces we've confirmed are there, so if there's a cosplayer you're interested in, be sure to check them out!

Basically, we only post photos of cosplayers who have given us permission to post.

Comic Market 99, public participation in the East Hall

This time I was a general participant in the East Hall.
The entrance process is the same as in the Southwest Hall, so if you would like to know what happens before you enter, please see there.

Cosplayer participation at Comic Market 99

This time, in stark contrast to previous Comiket events, there was a limit on the number of attendees and admission was by ticket, so overall there were fewer people in the venue.
As a result, it seemed like the number of cosplayers participating was significantly lower than usual.

Since photographers lined up around a small number of cosplayers, there was a limit to the number of people I could photograph, but I still managed to get some great shots of the cosplayers who added color to Comiket, so I'd like to introduce them to you.

Azure Lane

Azur Lane [Kaohsiung]

This is one of the most popular characters in Azur Lane.

ヱヴァンゲリヲン

Cosplay of Unit 01.
The AT field on the left arm is represented by a rotating LED.

New movie version: Ayanami Rei.
Personally, I think the black plug suit is the best.

Rem is very popular!
The character power is too strong!

There is also a wide variety of costumes.
It's a character that brings out the cosplayer's personality.

APEX Legends

Wraith and Wattson.
Along with Nessie.

Nintendo

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Link's unusual blue outfit and round shield are striking.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
When you think of Cynthia, you think of Garchomp!!
The dignity of the 600 tribe is in full force.

Star Fox, Fox McCloud.
The costume is extremely well made!

Gundam series

Cosplay of the mass-produced Leo from Gundam W.
No matter how you look at it, it's Leo!

RX-78-2, the original Gundam.
Judging from the details and markings, is this the Origin version?

Hatsune ミク

The mask is so well made.
There were surprisingly few mask-based cosplays, so it stood out!
It's rather cool, I guess?

ニーアリィンカーネーション

Smartphone app version of Nier 2B [Different Branching Attack Machine] ver.
2B is also a popular character among cosplayers.
White Contract is also great.

FGO

Okita Souji, 3rd Ascension ver.
I think this costume will be popular even up until the final ascension.
Of course I like it too.

Cleopatra, also the 3rd Ascension version.
As expected, the costume she wears, which is the only one she wears among the ascensions, including other characters, is popular.
I also like Cleopatra.

ウマ娘プリティーダービー

Gold Ship from Uma Musume, which I think is one of the three most popular titles of 2021.
I don't think a photo can do it justice, but the level of detail was incredibly high.

Super Subaru Angel Escalayer

Escalayer!!
You have a good hobby (in a good way)!
This is one of the works that I was grateful for during my time at Seishun!

As an aside, Escalayer is at the very center of the giant tapestry from ChoSuba Wars!

Card Captor Sakura

This is also one of the works that I was grateful for during my time at Seishun.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the series!

This is the promotional girl for the cosplay posting app "Cospot."
It ended up being advertised instead, but I'll take advantage of that and post the official link.

Highly anticipated for future events

I think there were a lot of experimental aspects to this Comiket, but there were also many aspects that felt a little lonely.
Even including circle participants, general participants, and cosplay participants, the number of participants was probably less than one-tenth of the usual number for Comiket.
There were times when I said things like, "It's hot!" "There are so many people!" "The lines are so long!" but I realized that I actually loved the festival atmosphere.
Let's hope to be able to photograph even more cosplayers from next time onwards!
