People who aren't toy nerds probably don't know this, but in recent years, the boxes for DX toys have often been switched so that the side with the flap is on the front, which is the opposite of what they used to be. I guess it's to make the face bigger so that it can be displayed in stores or something like that.

Two types of handles and blades are included.
It comes in a paper tray that is often seen with Sentai and Rider toys.

This is what it looks like when you take it out.

Body (handle)
The handle is the main body, and all the sound gimmicks are installed here.

There is a battery box on the back.

The battery cover is secured with screws.
Uses two AA batteries.

The ON/OFF switch is on the bottom.

When you press the button on the handle in each mode, a sound will be emitted.
The action mode is when only the handle is on, and when you press the button a line plays, and when you swing it right after that a sound effect plays. This mode is designed to discourage kids from swinging the stick around, but it's not fun at all.
There are many reviews on Amazon saying that they received a defective product that makes a rattling noise, but this rattling noise is a mechanism to detect when the product is being swung around, so I don't think it's defective.

Blade (Water Breathing)
This is the biggest part in the set.
It looks like there's something special going on, but there are no gimmicks here.

The screws are noticeable on the back.
You can see that it is firmly fixed.

The white parts are molded in the same color and painted, but even just after opening the package, the dirt was noticeable. This has never happened with any of the DX toys I've bought from this company before, so it seems sloppy. Perhaps quality control was neglected in the rush to release this product?
Well, it doesn't really matter because it will get dirty and peel off while you play with it anyway.

Blade (Hinokami Kagura)
It is much smaller than the water breathing parts.
The clear parts look really nice here too.

It's quite long for a DX toy, and it's great that you can hold it with both hands!
The clear effect parts are awesome!
You can enjoy a variety of sounds by pressing the buttons.
In this mode, pressing a button will play a sound effect following the dialogue.
Nothing happens when you shake it, but it's still fun to swing a stick around.
By the way, although it looks like it will glow quite brightly, there are no light gimmicks.
It just rings.

Hinokami Kagura Mode

There are only a few sound types available in this mode, so it's more of a bonus mode.
There is a satisfying click when changing the blade, and the firm, secure fit is just what you'd expect from a DX toy.
