[Akihabara] Capsule Hotel Circumstances. I stayed at First Cabin.
A powerful ally for those traveling on an expedition is cheap accommodation.
"cheaplyThat said, I still want a place that is reasonably spacious and nice to stay in.
I think many people think the same way.
There is a capsule hotel in Akihabara that is clean, spacious, and cheap, and it is called "First Cabin'.
This time I stayed at First Cabin, so I would like to do my best to introduce the wonderfulness of First Cabin (capsule hotel).
*Please note that I have not received anything from First Cabin, so I would like to write my honest thoughts without any reservations.
*Temporarily closed from April 1, 2021. For the latest information,Official websiteso.

How to get to First Cabin Akihabara (5-minute walk from the station)
First, let me explain how to get to First Cabin Akihabara.
It's about a 5-minute walk from the Showa-dori exit of JR Akihabara Station.
*If you are using JR, head towards the Showa-dori exit first

※Cross Showa-dori and head towards Kourakuen

*Turn right in front of Kourakuen and keep walking until you see a yellow building with a pharmacy on the first floor.

*If you go straight down the road next to the building, you will find First Cabin Akihabara

*At night, the blue light serves as a landmark, making it easy to find.

If you are using the Hibiya subway line, it's easier to exit from exits 1 or 4 as you won't have to cross Showa-dori.
First Cabin Akihabara [Check-in]
One day in February, I went to First Cabin to check in a little after 7pm.

The room I booked this timeFirst class: 5500 yen per night (tax included).
*Prices vary depending on the day. The price on the website is 6800 yen (tax included).
There are also plans that give you 10x Rakuten points, so it's a good deal to make online reservations through Rakuten.
You can also make a reservation online and pay in cash on the day, so choose the payment method that suits you best.
By the way, I paid 5500 yen in cash at Nico Nico!
Please note that check-in is possible from 5 PM, but you will not be able to check in if two hours have passed since your scheduled check-in time or after 2 AM.
Now, the first class room I booked this time is characterized by being larger than what many people imagine "The Capsule Hotel."
When you think of a capsule hotel, many people probably imagine rooms arranged like a beehive or a shoe locker.
Capsule hotels these days are amazing. The rooms are larger than those at lower-class lodgings, the facilities are excellent, and they're just amazing (vocabulary).
Since the First Cabin is based on an airplane motif, the rooms are named "Business Class" or "First Class" depending on the type.
Of course, the rooms in First Class are ranked higher than those in Business Class. Comfortable!
First Cabin Akihabara [Room] Wi-Fi, TV, etc.
Anyway, what an amazing room.
*First class

Semi-double bed
Side table
3 outlets
2 dimmable lights
liquid crystal television
Under-bed storage (lockable)
Change of clothes
Bath towels and hand towels
Wireless and wired LAN (cable rental available)
TV headphones or earphones (rental)
With all this, you can stay comfortably even if you come empty-handed.
*As this is a simple lodging facility, there are no locks on the rooms. Valuables should be stored in the storage box.
First Cabin Akihabara [Facilities] Large public bath, lounge, etc.

Next, I would like to introduce the facilities at First Cabin Akihabara.
First, you need a card key to enter the accommodation area.
*Card keys will be issued at check-in.

Freely accessible lounge.
There are power outlets available, meals available, and a coffee machine.
No talking in the roomSo if you want to use the phone, you have to go to the lounge.

There is a smoking area at the back of the lounge.
It's almost full when two adults are inside, but for smokers it's better than nothing.
What was impressive was that the air purifier was running at full power.

Vending machine corner.
Alcohol and hot snacks are also available.

The monsters are reasonably priced at 190 yen.

Very beautiful toilet.
And it's spacious.

A very large public bath.
And beautiful.
Anyone staying at the hotel can use it.

The washbasin is also clean and easy to use.
All the amenities are provided.

A little bit about the Yakiniku situation in Akihabara [Yakiniku Like]
After checking in and organizing our luggage, we went out for dinner.
When you go out, leave your card key at the front desk and take the key for the security box installed in your room (which has your room number written on it) with you when you go out.
*When you return from going out, the key and card key numbers will be checked, so please use them as a set.
Now, there are many izakayas and standing bars on the Showa-dori side, so we head towards the electric town.
I wanted to eat a lot of food at a reasonable price, preferably meat, so I went for a walk.
What I found was a restaurant that specializes in Yakiniku for solo diners,Yakiniku Like』.

We arrived just after 20pm so we were able to get a seat right away.
I ordered the kalbi and tongue platter with extra skirt steak.

I was full so I headed back to the hotel.
Many stores close at 21 PM, so if you want to explore Akihabara, it's best to head out before 19 PM.

What's more, you can use wireless LAN!
This means you can play Shinobi Refle!

*Please play quietly so as not to disturb those around you.
First Cabin Akihabara [Otaku Goods] Love Live etc.
Finally, we will introduce the major features of First Cabin Akihabara.
First up, the Love Live poster.
There are huge posters hanging up.

Next is the figure and stuffed animal shelf.

Characters from Hatsune Miku and The Idolmaster are displayed everywhere.

This exhibit feels unique to Akihabara.
The best capsule hotel, First Cabin Akihabara
To tell you the truth, I had no idea about capsule hotels until I stayed at First Cabin.
・The room is very narrow from top to bottom and left to right.
・The rooms are connected together like a honeycomb
・There are virtually no security measures
However, this image has now been dispelled.
In fact, it was so comfortable that I felt I could recommend it without reservation.
It's close to the station, reasonably priced, and you can stay for multiple nights, making it perfect for traveling to events.
Another great feature is that the floors are separated for men and women.
One thing to note is that if you have a carry-on suitcase, we recommend that you reserve at least a first class room.
There is no problem with business class, but since business class is primarily for "accommodation," depending on the amount of luggage you have, you may find that your sleeping space is cramped.
