[Home Learning] Free books and learning services for a limited time

Due to the effects of the coronavirus, most people are spending as much time at home as possible.
In seven prefectures, including Tokyo, where a state of emergency has been declared, people are being told not to go out except for work, to secure food, or to exercise.

It might not be a bad idea to use this free time to study, so I've put together a list of websites that offer free educational books and services.

First, I tried to collect non-book resources, such as video learning and study apps.

"Z-kai" learning materials for elementary, middle and high school students

Some of Z-kai's teaching materials are available for free.
Self-study drill materials for math and Japanese language are available for first and second grade elementary school students.
In addition, math and science problems are released for third to sixth grade elementary school students as "teaching materials that will naturally help them develop logical thinking skills."
Teaching materials for junior high school students, high school students, and university entrance exam candidates are also available.

"N Preparatory School" is an app that allows you to take online classes at N High School

"ALC" now offering songs to help you remember English

ALC, a company famous for its English learning services, is currently streaming songs on YouTube that help children learn English.
It might be easier to remember it with the song than just memorizing it normally.

A variety of video learning materials are available to teach science-related subjects such as global warming, astronomy, and insects.
What's more, since it's aimed at students, the explanations are easy to understand, which is great.

"Jyuken Kenkyusha Virtual Library" releases approximately 40 popular reference books for free

For a limited time, approximately 40 books are available for free on the "Virtual Library," including the reference book "Jiyuujizai," which has sold over 2600 million copies since its launch, and "All Subjects Review Test," a workbook that allows you to review the school year in one volume.

"TAC Publishing" releases free study drills popular among elementary school girls

TAC Publishing is making all pages of the "Kirakira☆Home Study" series, which is extremely popular among elementary school girls, available for free until May 6th.
This series is designed to be easy to understand, with lots of cute illustrations and diagrams, so that even children who are not good at studying can enjoy it.
Additionally, since a year's worth of learning content is compiled into one book, it is apparently popular as it is useful for reviewing the entire year and preparing for the next school year.
