Taito Station Akihabara - Arcade along Chuo Street

A game center located between "Toranoana Akihabara Store B" and "Trader Akihabara Store 3".

Taito Station Akihabara East-West Passage Store - Prize Game Corner

An arcade that opened on October 1, 2019 in the Akihabara East-West Passage.
It's like a prize-only game corner.

Chara Pop Store Atre Akihabara - Prize corner in the shop

Located on the 3rd floor of "Atre Akihabara 1",Located next to the anime goods shopGame corner.

GiGO Akihabara Building No. 1 - Formerly "Sega Akihabara Building No. 1" and "Club Sega Akihabara"

This game center is located right next to Matsumoto Kiyoshi Akihabara, under the elevated tracks where the Sobu Line trains run.

GiGO Akihabara Building No. 5 - Taiyaki store attached Former "SEGA Akihabara Building No. 5"

The first floor is home to Sega Taiyaki Akihabara, the first store in the Akihabara area.
The amusement floor on the 4th floor also had darts and retro games.

The retro games on the 4th floor have been moved to Sega Building 3, and more pinball and dart machines have been added.
These two became the main floors.
There are also several casual games available, such as soccer and PONG.

Tokyo Leisureland Akihabara store - The larger Leisureland

A game center located immediately to the left of Kirakira Asobox Akihabara 4th store.

Top floorOn the fifth floor, there were baseball and soccer games.
I think this is the only store in Akihabara that has full-scale sports-based competitive video games.

Tokyo Leisureland Akihabara 2nd store - Donki at Leisureland

A game center located on the 6th and 7th floors of Don Quijote Akihabara.

Akihabara Hey - Retro games galore

A game center located in the same building as "Melon Books Akihabara 1st Store."
It is famous for having a wide selection of retro video games as well as the latest games.

Game Panic Akihabara - Lots of prizes and rhythm games

A game center that opened on the site of the Adores Akihabara store, which closed in 2020.
The mall focuses on prize games and rhythm games, with these two taking up the first seven floors of the nine-story building.

Namco Akihabara Store - Former GiGO Akihabara Building No. 4 Site

An arcade located right outside the Electric Town exit of Akihabara Station.
There are many Bandai Namco games, and it is recommended for Gundam and Taiko players.
There are no DCD games available.
There is also a specialty store for gacha and trading cards.

Super Potato Akihabara store - Game corner available

A famous store in Akihabara that sells retro games.
When I got there, the only customers were foreigners.
Not only do they sell video games, but there is also a retro-style game center on the 5th floor.
The cabinets on display were also old-fashioned competitive video games.

DDR AKIBA Main Store - Play with a racing simulator

A shop where you can enjoy racing simulation games.
It's not a normal game center, but I thought it would still fit in the game center category, so I decided to post it.

Amusement Park - Junk Street Prize Corner

The game center closest to Suehirocho Station.
All crane games are available for 100 yen.

Yodobashi Camera Akihabara store - Multiple DCD units in operation

There is a small game center corner right next to the bicycle corner on the 6th floor of Yodobashi Camera Akihabara store.
The machines on display were competitive card games such as Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Pokemon.
To be honest, there was a wider variety of gachapon than games.

Akihabara has many arcades! Rare retro games too!

As of 2021, many arcades have closed due to the effects of COVID-19, but there are still quite a few arcades in Akihabara.
