I went to the Halloween plastic model exhibition! [Asakusabashi is Akihabara (I can assure you)]
Asakusabashi is Akihabara!! (assertion)
So there's no problem handling it at Akihabara Base Camp.
So, today, October 19th,Halloween Plastic Model ExhibitionI went to!
Apparently some of the voice actors from Idolmaster will be exhibiting, so I'm looking forward to it.
Oh, and also,Akihabara WorkshopHis name was also mentioned prominently, so as a member of the studio, I felt a sense of duty to go. (A somewhat contrived reason.)
What is the Halloween Plastic Model Exhibition?
It's a plastic model exhibition being held at the Asakusabashi Tosho Center!
That said, not only plastic models but also figures and dioramas are on display, so strictly speaking it is not a plastic model exhibition.
It's an exhibition of crafts including plastic models, figures, and dioramas.
Each modeler had put a lot of effort into creating their own Halloween-themed items, and they were all fantastic.
Exhibit introduction
First of all, anyone can seeHalloween! From a work that makes you say
The way the luminous paint glows is justHalloween!
Jiangshi & witches! The pants were Halloween pumpkins!

A work of artisan craftsmanship with an impressive production process

Even prizes can be great if the modeler is involved...

The beauty of a scene from an SRPG
This Feyen is so cute
Demon skin and zombie skin are the strongest...Seriously awesome

Some people were exhibiting the production process.
This is a work with a Jack motif.

Instead of a sleek Zaku, this is a work that recreates a chunky look and a Sailor Moon-esque work.

You are free to make plastic models, figures, and garage kits!
One thing I thought after going to the exhibition
"That's seriously amazing."
That's all.
I've basically only ever built plastic models by assembling them as is and removing any burrs, but this kind of inspiration? This desire to create? It had been a long time since I felt like something sleeping inside me had been ignited.
My goal this year is to create something! That's it! (73 days left in 2019)
It seems that the number of exhibited works has gradually increased since I went to see it, so if you're interested, please check out the hashtag on Twitter:#HalloweenPlasticModelExhibition"I think it would be a good idea to search for it.
Ah, it's a work by Kaneko Yuki.See the real thing with your own eyes!!
