Store closures and relocations: 4 stores
Sengoku Densho Akihabara 2nd store

Opening time: 2017/4/17 (Monday)
Closing date: Sunday, February 7, 2024
A specialty store that carries a wide variety of electronic parts.
The store closed due to the opening of Akihabara New Store No. 2 on the site of the former Nishikawa Electronic Components store.
In a store reorganization in 2017, the store was renamed from "Akihabara 3rd Store (opened in December 2005)" to "Akihabara 2nd Store."
By the way, the original "Akihabara 2nd Store" is the current "Akihabara Main Store."
Sengoku Electric Radio Department Store

Opening date: Thursday, July 12, 2018
Closing date: Sunday, February 7, 2024
Sengoku Electric Shop inside Radio Department Store.
They sold arcade controller parts and other items.
Closed due to relocation to Akihabara New 2nd Store.
Jan-gle Akihabara 3rd store

Opening date: 2011/1
Closing date: Tuesday, January 30, 2024
A store selling used PCs, smartphones, tablets, etc.
The store is temporarily closed due to renovations being carried out on the building it is located in.
Konan Electric

Closing date: Tuesday, January 30, 2024
An electronic parts store located on the second floor of the Radio Department Store.
It had been in business in Akihabara for half a century and two generations, but closed due to the owner's advanced age.
Konan Electric closes
This month saw a particularly noticeable increase in the number of closures and restructurings of electronic parts stores.
With the closure of several Konan Denki and Sengoku Densho Radio Department Store stores, the area is becoming a deserted street, just like Radio Center, and many long-time Akihabara users may feel lonely.
