[May 2024] Akihabara store closures list [Closed]

Before we knew it, the rainy season was over and July began with days that were even hotter than June.
Summer is finally here, with summer vacation and Obon coming up, but we'd like to introduce some Akihabara stores that have closed this month.

Closed: 4 stores

Hanamasa Meat Plus Yushima Branch

Opening date: June 28, 2018
Closing date: July 8, 2024

The 24-hour wholesale supermarket along Shoheibashi Street has closed.
The restaurant originally operated as "Hanamasa Meat Yushima Branch," but changed its name to coincide with its reopening on June 28, 2018.
It was in business for about six years.

Jiromaru Akihabara store

Opening date: June 26, 2015
Closing date: July 15, 2024

A stand-up style yakiniku restaurant for solo eaters located behind Onoden Building.
It was a popular restaurant where you could enjoy high-quality meat at a reasonable price.
According to a notice in front of the store, the site is scheduled to open as a steak restaurant in late August 2024.

TCGRestaurant Rishad

Opening date: June 30, 2022
Closing date: July 31, 2024

A restaurant near Suehirocho where you can play TCGs and board games has closed.

Amataro Akihabara store

Closing date: July 31, 2024

This izakaya chain was located on the 7th floor of the Tomorrow Building near Manseibashi Bridge.
It's close to the station and offers great value, including all-you-can-eat yakiniku and shabu-shabu, as well as all-you-can-drink beer, so many people have used it as a venue for banquets and off-site meetings in Akihabara.

Jiromaru Akihabara store closes

The site of the Jiromaru Akihabara store, which closed this month, is already undergoing renovations in preparation for the opening of a new store.
Hanamasa Meat Plus Yushima store has closed, but Hanamasa Meat Akihabara store remains open.
