Akihabara stores closing in March 2024 (in chronological order)

Closed: 6 stores

Shop Tirol Chocolate

Opening date: June 12, 2018
Closing date: July 3, 2024

Tirol Chocolate's direct store along Chuo Dori is closing.
They sold regional limited items and great value outlet products.

Lawson Metros Akihabara store

Opening date: May 4, 2015 (Tuesday)
Closing date: Thursday, June 22, 2024

A convenience store located inside a Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line station.
It was in operation for about nine years as Lawson Metros' first store.

Akihabara Ramen Tenjinya

Opening date: June 17, 2007
Closing date: July 23, 2024

A ramen restaurant near Izumi Park.
They offer ramen featuring chicken and seafood soup made without chemical seasonings and homemade noodles.

Retro Game Friends

Opening date: 1990s
Closing date: July 26, 2024

A long-established retro game specialty store located in a building along Kuramaebashi-dori.
Closed due to building reconstruction.

Niku to Kome Hajime Akihabara Branch

Opening date: June 29, 2020
Closing date: July 27, 2024

A steak restaurant located in a building along Kuramaebashi-dori.
The restaurant formerly operated under the name "Niku no Murayama Akihabara Suehirocho Branch."
The store closed due to the building being rebuilt, and Retro Game Friends was also located in the same building.

Getchuya Akiba store

Opening date: June 17, 2007
Closing date: July 31, 2024

A physical store of an online shopping site that sells bishoujo games and new anime.
It was in business for about six years.
