Akihabara stores closing in March 2024 (in chronological order)

Closed: 4 stores

Kinako and Torori Yodobashi Akiba store

Opening date: October 7, 2022
Closing date: March 27, 2024

A sweets shop next to Yodobashi that mainly serves warabimochi will close. At the same time, the Shinbashi store will also close on October 31st. From November, only the main store in Kyoto will be open.

Card Shop Rai Rai Akihabara Branch

Opening date: October 4, 2023
Closing date: March 30, 2024

The store will be temporarily closed due to building contract issues, but they will continue to offer mail-order purchases and operate their e-commerce site.

Mister Donut Akihabara Shop

Opening date: October 20, 1972
Closing date: March 31, 2024

After 52 years since its opening, Mister Donut, which has always stood watch over Chuo Dori, is closing down.
It is the oldest Mister Donut in Japan, and in March of this year, a popular VTuber came to the store and posted something,
It attracted renewed attention.
