Akihabara stores closing in March 2024 (in chronological order)

Closed: 4 stores

New Akiba's Kitchen Akihabara Store

Opening date: October 11, 2020
Closing date: March 15, 2024

It has been operating on the second floor of a building across from Akihabara UDX since 2020. It changed its name from "Tuna Specialty Izakaya AKIBA" but continued to serve many tuna dishes.

BENGAL

Opening date: 1973
Closing date: March 16, 2024

This curry specialty restaurant was founded in 1973. It moved to its current location in March 2018 due to the building being rebuilt. It was temporarily closed, but then the operating company went into bankruptcy proceedings and closed down.

Amane Entertainment World

Opening date: September 16, 2023
Closing date: March 27, 2024

It was a hybrid gallery that exhibited both digital and physical art, and displayed and sold digital NFT art, real-life works, and merchandise.

Trading Card ONE - Gachapon Hall 3rd Floor

Opening date: October 30, 2022
Closing date: March 22, 2024

A card shop located on the 3rd floor of Gachapon Kaikan.
They sold Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon cards, Duel Masters, One Piece, Battle Spirits, and more.
