On September 30th, 2022, I attended the Model Hobby Show held at Tokyo Big Sight as a member of the press.
The exhibition will be open to the public for two days, October 1st and 2nd.

This article will mainly focus on things that could not be included in the previous article.
We have already introduced popular works such as MG Zeta Ver.Ka, Megami Device, and Zoids, so let's move on to other items and tools that are popular with discerning fans.

Bandai [Many popular works]

The hugely popular 30 MINUTES SISTERS.
This kit is quite difficult to obtain. Re-releases always sold out immediately.

Kits currently in the planning stages for commercialization. They're all Zaku-type MS.
It's expected to be released next year, but I'm looking forward to it.

The mysterious technology used in aerials. They're talking about decals between parts...

There were also many Super Robot Wars related items on display.
It's quite moving to see the Huckebein Mk-II made into an HG kit.

DOYUSHA [Unique and unique sensibility]

Various tools including the Sugo series were on display.

A photo booth that will delight bloggers and YouTubers.

There are also some unique models such as shrimp, centipedes, and cobras.

Beautiful girl plastic models are also popular.

GSI Creos [From paints to model tools]

The highlight is the various water-based Hobby Gundam colors.
SEED series + Mercury Witch seems to be the best choice.

Holographic color Gundam markers are also on display.

Other exhibits include small compressors and airbrushes.

We also appreciate your cordless routers and bits.

Gaia Notes [A wide range of special paints]

Paint produced by professional modeler NAOKI.
You can get colors that are hard to achieve anywhere else.

Paint for Ideon.
Two types are available: the original red and an adapted red.

You can search for Gaia Colors by simply scanning with this device.

In addition, there are also displays of standard thinners and premium series paints.

ARGOFILE [Helping with the plastic model building process]

A magnifying glass for detailed work.

A dust collector that sucks up the shavings produced when sanding.

Cleans dirt and debris from parts in one go with ultrasonic waves!

Of course, there was also the Ultima series, your best friend when it comes to sanding.

Tokyo Marui [A long-established manufacturer of air guns and gas guns]

Next, we decided to change things up a bit and headed over to the Marui booth.
They are already on sale, but the two SAA models are so cool I had to take a photo of them.

Both the silver and black look cool and you'll want both.

The MP5, which is also famous in FPS games, is also on display.

A collaboration with Blue Archive is also underway!
I'm sure it will turn out to be absolutely amazing!

TAMIYA [Radio Control & Mini 4WD]

Finally, let's look at TAMIYA.
TAMIYA's main products are radio-controlled cars and Mini 4WD.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Mini 4WD, so a timeline was on display.

McLaren was on display.
It looks cool even as a radio-controlled car... Beautiful curves...

Not only models but all kinds of hobbies will be on display, so you'll be able to find products from around the world that you've never seen before.
Each company has put a lot of effort into creating their booths, so if you have the time, it might be interesting to just take a look at all the booths.
