Report from the 61st All Japan Model Hobby Show 2023: An exhibition of many new plastic models
The 61st All Japan Model Hobby Show will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from Friday, September 29th to Sunday, October 1st, 2023.
This event is an exhibition for model manufacturers, and many new products will be announced.
This time, we'll be introducing some of the things that caught our eye at the All Japan Model Hobby Show!

The Witch of Mercury, which reached its climax this year, will have weapon sets and spin-off aircraft available as kits.

Chaos Soldier from Yu-Gi-Oh!, which is being released as a kit one after another.

The MG Narrative Gundam is on display before and after transformation.

A big item, HG Destroy Gundam.
Is a stand required for it to stand on its own?

The long-awaited Kira Steel returns to SD Gundam.

There were also various other Gundam-related items.

New products are coming out one after another for 30MM and 30MS.
There are also robots such as Danbain, YF-21, and Huckebein.

From the Brave Series, prototypes of Great Burngarn and Great Dagaan GX will be on display.

Zoids include a Guysack prototype and a panel announcing the commercialization of Salamander.


Beautiful girl plastic models are also on the offensive.

Personally, I'm interested in the gals from Sousai Shojo Teien...

At this point, it seems like any mecha character could be commercialized as a modeloid.

While you might think that Plamatea is a plastic model series featuring beautiful girls, it also features Guts.


Macross series.
The Fire Valkyrie is particularly eye-catching.

The HJ version of Blasty reproduces its unique silhouette.
Plamax also has an amazing lineup!

Bathing in water has been around for a while.
Radio-controlled cars and model trains are also available.
The show focused on character models, but there were also displays of radio-controlled cars, model trains, and model guns, making it an event that can be enjoyed by people other than plastic model fans.
