"Ai Hotel Akihabara" was a business hotel that was planned to be built behind Shohei Elementary School.
The hotel was originally planned to be a 10-story building, with construction beginning in August 2019 and completion scheduled for November 10, 2020.
Currently, the planned site is a pay parking lot and the building plan signs have disappeared, so perhaps the hotel construction plans have disappeared altogether.

First Cabin Akihabara Electric Town - Opening postponed from spring 2020

"First Cabin Akihabara Electric Town" is a hotel whose opening has been postponed and is located along Yanagihara Street, near Nikuno Mansei Akihabara Main Branch.
This is First Cabin's second store in the Akihabara area and was originally scheduled to open in spring 2020.
However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the opening has been postponed due to delays in procuring hotel construction materials and equipment.
