Lily Rakukidan Interview

The interview was conducted just before Lily Rakukidan's solo live show "2nd Album [INDIVIDUALISM] Release Live in Osaka."
We were able to hear about their history from when they first formed to their current situation and their future prospects.

Introducing the members of Lily Rakukidan

-Congratulations on the release of your second album, the live show, and on your birthday, Natsu.
First of all, could you please introduce yourself to everyone reading Akihabara Base Camp?

Kotone
Okay, let's start from this end!
I'm Kotone, and I play bass in Lily Rakukidan.
Thank you.

Ruisham
I'm Ruisham, the drummer.
...Yes!

SAiRah
Huh?! That's it?! (Everyone laughs)

Kisara
I'm Kisara, the vocalist for Lily Rakukidan.
Well, what I like is games!

Kotone-san, Ruisham-san, Kisara-san

This is Natsu on guitar.
I'm pleased to meet you, today.

SAiRah
I'm SAiRah on keyboards.
I'm a little nervous.

Mizuki
I'm Mizuki, the vocalist!
Since it's a live performance at a large venue, I'm looking forward to having fun!

Lily Rakukidan continues to operate at high speed

–Could you tell us how you feel ahead of today’s live performance?

Mizuki
Today's venue is the biggest one we've ever had.
Moreover, since the performance will be in Osaka and not Nagoya, where the band is based, I think all the members are very nervous.
–I heard you did street performances this month in Dotonbori and Joten Street.

Kisara
Some people who knew us from our street performances have come, and I hope that everyone who has participated will have fun and go home happy, but I also want them to see how much we've grown. As it says in the promotional image, we're going to take on the challenge with the hope that we can leave another legend here.

–You have a solo show today and a circuit festival in Tokyo tomorrow, so you have back-to-back activities. What are your plans for the future?

Mizuki
We're not well known yet, so we want to find out how we can promote ourselves. We want to create a place where we can meet all kinds of people. We're going to Tokyo tomorrow too (laughs).

Ruisham
Aim for Budokan!

Kotone
There were a lot of things I wasn't able to do this year, but if I can next year, I'd like to perform at festivals and the like.

I want it out!!

Kisara
This summer started with the feeling that we were going to do it.

That's true

Kisara
This year was difficult, but I want to go next year!

Kotone
I want to spread the word so that people will call me.

natsu
I will do my best!!

–Finally, could you give a message to your fans?

Kotone
Thank you!!

I love you (lol)

We hope you will continue to support Lilidan as we move forward.

Mizuki
Oh, good. That's great.
That's not the case (lol)

Kisara
We hope to continue to be a band that you can't take your eyes off of, that keeps getting further and further ahead, so we hope you will continue to support us.

Mizuki
We will continue to move forward at high speed, as per our concept, so we hope you will keep your eyes on us and move forward with us. Thank you for your continued support.

SAiRah
It's still small in scale, but I hope it will continue to grow together with our fans, so I hope you will continue to support us.

natsu
Today is my birthday, so I'll have the opportunity to speak, and I hope to express my gratitude to all my fans.
I want Lilidan to continue to be a presence that makes people excited and energized when they watch it, and I hope to continue to be a presence that can bring more and more hope to our fans.

Afterwards, natu performed two solo songs at the live concert, expressing her gratitude to her fans.
