Monster Hunter Rise for Switch: Recommended Ranged Weapons for Early and Mid-Game Play
Last time we introduced "recommended equipment and skills for melee weapons," but this time we will introduce recommended equipment and skills for ranged weapons.
There are fewer types of ranged weapons than melee weapons, but we hope you will bear with us.
As in the previous article, the definition of the early to mid-game is "Village quests as of June - up to ☆6'We will be announcing this as follows.'
In terms of the gathering hall, we are aiming for around ☆3 to ☆4.
Ranged weapon types
Monster Hunter Rise's ranged weapons include
・Light Bowgun
・Heavy Bowgun
・弓
There are three types:
The operation methods for melee weapons and ranged weapons are different, so if you're just starting out with Monster Hunter, it's best to choose one of the attack methods and use it accordingly.
For those who are using a long-range weapon for the first time, I personally recommend the light bowgun.

Recommended skills for ranged weapons
Ammo Conservation

A skill that has a chance of not consuming bullets.
Activating it involves luck, but the benefits are great when it is activated.
It's quite usable in the early and mid-game.
Loading Expansion

This skill increases the number of bullets loaded.
When used in conjunction with bullet saving, it is very powerful as it reduces the number of times you have to reload.
This skill alone isn't that great, but it can be used in combination with other skills.
Recoil reduction

When using a crossbow, have you ever felt like the firing feels a little slow?
If the recoil when firing is large, there may be a gap before you can take your next action.
Reducing the recoil of a bowgun makes it easier to move on to your next action.
Bow
〇〇arrow reinforcement(Image shows improved shotgun and scatter arrows)

This skill increases the power of the corresponding charged shot.
Select the skill for the type of arrow you want to use, such as Rapid Fire Arrow Enhancement for the skill that corresponds to Rapid Fire Arrows, or Piercing Arrow Enhancement for the skill that corresponds to Piercing Arrows.
Physical training

This skill slows down the rate at which stamina decreases.
Bows consume stamina during charge actions, so using this skill to extend the charge action time makes bows easier to use.
Recommended ranged weapons
This is the equipment you'll need after completing the village quests and about to start the gathering hall quests.
A full range of monsters appear, so you can choose your skills to a certain extent.
The characteristics of each weapon will be more pronounced depending on the skills you select.
With this equipment, you will be able to aim for the gathering place and higher level quests.
light bowgun
I think choosing a bongun weapon can be difficult due to its recoil, reload speed, and special bullets.
However, if you focus on what you need to focus on, your choices will be narrowed down.
Although it has a medium recoil, the Lycan I is easy to use as it can fire normal bullets rapidly.

Baby Bowgun
Generally, movement speed and reload speed are set to be slow.
Until you get used to it, it may be easier to use if you choose one with a fast reload speed.
It's a good idea to choose one with low recoil.
I think the Hyundai Sniper is the best to use.

bow
Bows are a weapon type that often requires constant power accumulation.
Since stamina continues to be consumed while power is being accumulated, stamina management is also necessary when using it.
You will also need to use bottles, so you will need to choose a new weapon.
There are many different types of charge attacks, but it's best to start by choosing one that you find easiest to use.
If you're unsure, Magatsu weapons are a safe bet.

Ranged weapons are used differently than melee weapons.
He aimed at the enemy and delivered each blow with precision.
Ranged weapons offer a lot of fun that melee weapons don't.
It has many unique features, such as being able to easily destroy parts of enemies at high altitudes and being good at damaging enemies with long torsos.
You've defeated a variety of monsters with your melee weapon...
How about trying ranged weapons next?
