[EVO] Summary of online eSports tournaments [Events]

As events are being canceled one after another due to the impact of COVID-19, an increasing number of events are being held online. This time, we've compiled a list of large-scale esports tournaments that are primarily held online. There are still some tournaments where you can still meet the entry deadline, so if you think you have what it takes, why not give it a try?

Wilderness Championship - Bonds of Champions 2020... March 23rd - May 31st

This is the official Knives Out tournament, with a prize of 10 million yen for the winner. All that remains are the East Japan Championship on May 17th and the final on May 31st.

TOPANGA LEAGUE × TEKKEN7 … Held from May 9th to June 14th

A "Tekken 7" tournament hosted by TOPANGA will be streamed on "OPENREC.tv." The winner will receive a prize of 100 million yen. As expected from someone who is used to streaming, the announcement is easy to understand.

RAGE GBVS 2020 Summer powered by AQUOS … Held from May 30th to June 20th

This is a large-scale tournament for Granblue Fantasy Versus, a highly anticipated game released last year, with a prize of 3 million yen for the winner. Due to the impact of COVID-19, players residing outside of Japan are not allowed to participate, and the tournament will be held without spectators.

RAGE Shadowverse 2020 Summer … Held from May 2nd to June 21st

This is a large-scale Shadowverse tournament with a prize of 4 million yen for the winner. All that remains is the Grand Finals on June 21st.

Online challenge against professional Puyo Puyo players! ... Held from May 9th to June 27th

This is an event that takes place every Saturday where you can challenge professional players online. To enter, simply apply for a match from the game screen on the day, so it's easy to participate.

Kusoge Of The RTA … held on 7/4-7/5

[Entry Deadline] Closed
An online RTA event exclusively for crappy games. Players are required to declare whether they think a game is crappy or not. The event will be held over two consecutive days on July 4th and 5th.

EVO Online… July 4th-August 2nd

[Entry Deadline] TBD
This tournament was decided to be held as a replacement for the world's largest fighting game tournament, "Evo." It will be held every weekend from July to August.

RTA in Japan Online 2020 … August 13-16

[Entry Deadline] May 24th
This is one of the largest RTA events in Japan. If you're not good at competitive games but would like to try RTA, why not consider participating?

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links KC Grand Tournament... Held June 1st - August

[Entry Deadline] TBD
This is a large-scale official tournament that will be held in place of the finals of the "Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2020." "Please check the in-game announcements for details."
