Recommended penlights and glow sticks
Official Live Light Stick
If the content is reasonably large, it can be sold as live merchandise.公式ペンライトOrOfficial BladeThere should be original penlights like this.
The design and light color are in line with the live regulations, so you can't go wrong by buying this.
However, it is expensive for its performance, so it is best suited to beginners who "don't often attend anime fan concerts" or experts who "put everything into it."
Benefits of using the official concert light stick
- The light color is minimal, so it's easy to switch
- Enjoy it as a fan item of the content
- Money goes to the official
Disadvantages of official concert light sticks
- If I bought it every time, I'd go bankrupt.
- Shabby for the price
- It may be sold out in stores
Commercially available penlights such as Kinbre
It's a penlight that's sold around here.
Some light bulbs have a single color, but most can be switched between multiple colors.
thisOnce you buy it, you can use it anywhereSo it's a good idea to have one.
You can buy a higher-end model with various functions for around 3000 yen, but I don't think you'll use it that much, so it's up to you.
Depending on the content, there may be regulations regarding the length and the batteries used (dry cell or button cell), so be careful.
Advantages of commercially available penlights
- Buy one and reuse it
- Glows in various colors
- Easy to obtain
Disadvantages of commercially available penlights
- It may have unnecessary features
- Depending on the live performance, you may need to be mindful of regulations.

High-intensity chemical light
Chemical lights are what we call glow sticks.
That thing that lights up when you fold it.
The reason we limited ourselves to high brightness is because ordinary chemical lights, which give off a dim glow, are rarely used.
Penlights are brighter, you can change the colors, and they're reusable... so I don't really see any point in using chemical lights.
However, high-intensity types that emit a stronger light than regular penlights, especially orange ones, are often used.
CommonlyUO (Ultra Orange)That's what they say.
To use it, you can make it light up during the chorus of a song, or hold it in both hands and spin it around when the song is getting exciting.
Although they are fun to use, they are a double-edged sword that can lead to trouble as some geeks dislike high-intensity flashlights.
Recently, there are some live shows that are prohibited by regulations.
Also, they stop glowing after about 2-3 minutes, so you need to carry several with you, which is not cost-effective and is a pain to carry around.
Advantages of high-intensity chemical lights
- It's so shiny
- It's fun to fold
- It's fun to spin around
Disadvantages of high-intensity chemical lights
- disposable
- It's hard to carry around
- There are prohibited live performances

bare hands
It reduces the amount of luggage you need to carry and eliminates the need to check regulations!
Highly recommended with all the good thingsThis is it.
However, unlike other stones, it seems that considerable training is required to make it emit light.
Also, be careful, if you don't have a glow stick you might get bullied by other otaku.
The benefits of bare hands
- You can go empty-handed
- No complicated operations
Disadvantages of bare hands
- There are otaku who don't think bare hands are good.
- It's hard to make it glow
