It is recommended to change the filter every three days, and spare filters are expensive at 3,780 yen for a 30-day supply.
If you're interested but worried about the maintenance costs, please wait a little longer.
The main unit comes with a 9-day supply of filters, and the starter version comes with an additional 90 days' worth, for a total of 99 days' worth.
I doubt there will be 99 days in my lifetime where I'll have the opportunity to go out wearing this mask, so without worrying about the details, now is the time to buy one during party season.
