Introducing Steam's highly rated and recommended games
Biohazard 4 [Survival Horror + TPS]

Price: 2,027 yen
Rating: Very Positive (38,690)
The fourth Resident Evil game.
This title uses a TPS perspective, making it even more possible to "sniper."
Inspired by the gameplay of Biohazard 4, various TPS titles were created.
I think it's the best of many TPS games.
Borderlands 2 [Hack and Slash + FPS]

Price: 1,980 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (175,770)
A world-famous hack-and-slash shooter.
Although it was released in 2012, many people still play it.
It supports multiplayer, but single-player is also possible.
This resulted in many players realizing that it was already morning.
Cloudpunk [Cyberpunk + Open World]

Price: 2,200 yen
Rating: Very Positive (9,949)
A game in which you run a courier business in a cyberpunk world.
The objective is to transport designated cargo to designated locations, but the most appealing aspect of this game is its world view.
The feeling of flying around in a flying car among a densely packed group of skyscrapers is something only Cloudpunk can offer.
There aren't any intense battles or beautiful characters, but it does have a world that can only be experienced in Cloudpunk.
CrossCode [MMO-style action RPG]

Price: 1,980 yen
Rating: Very Positive (10,880)
An action RPG set in the world of MMORPGs.
The graphics are beautiful, with pixel art reminiscent of the SFC era, and the story is good too.
Although it is a good old-fashioned action RPG, it is not unreasonable and is easy to play.
There are some parts that make me think it might be a little difficult, but considering the price of 2000 yen, I think it's a pretty good game.
The characters are also unique, making this a game that reminds you of what makes games fun.
Crypt of the NecroDancer [Rhythm game + Roguelike]

Price: 1,480 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (19,550)
A unique combination of rhythm game and roguelike.
During the game, you have to constantly move in rhythm, leaving you with no time to catch your breath.
The music genres are diverse and change as you progress through the levels, so it may be difficult to keep up.
Each play isn't too long and it has a high replay value, so I think people who get hooked will be really hooked.
The strategy changes depending on the weapon you use, so it's a game that can withstand repeated play.
Dead Cells [Metroid Vire + Roguelike]

Price: 2,480 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (96,791)
A godlike game in the Metroidvania world that appeared like a comet.
Officially, it's called Roguevania, a combination of Metroidvania and Roguelike.
You can't just force your way through the game by using equipment from the weapon shop; you also need to improve your gaming skills.
For some reason, I find myself constantly saying, "Just one more play! Just one more play!"
DOOM Eternal [FPS]

Price: 2,200 yen
Rating: Very Positive (139,349)
It is such a famous work that everyone in the FPS world knows about it.
DOOM is unique in that it's fun to just fire off your gun without thinking.
A wide variety of weapons, actions, attack methods...
Use everything you have to mow down the approaching enemies! Shoot, punch, slash and crush!
DOOOOOOOOM!!
ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights [Metroidvania + Soul-like]

Price: 2,728 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (17,550)
This is by far the most popular Souls-like Metroidvania title.
The world view is a little dark, but the protagonist Lily's mysterious appearance stands out.
The game design is not fast-paced, but that's exactly why it's made to be an action game that you can play at your own pace.
There are no unreasonably difficult moments, and the game is well-made throughout, so the gameplay is more than worth the price.
Grim Dawn [Hack and Slash + Action RPG]

Price: 2,570 yen
Rating: Very Positive (64,732)
A great Diablo-like hack-and-slash game.
This work was the reason why I started using Steam in earnest.
At first, I started playing it thinking it would be a stopgap until Diablo 4 came out, but contrary to my expectations, I became completely hooked.
You'll definitely be hooked just as much as people who were into Diablo!
There is also DLC, so it's a terrifying game that can easily lose hundreds of hours of playtime.
Hades [Hack and Slash + Roguelike]

Price: 2,570 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (182,506)
The appearance is similar to the Grim Dawn introduced above, with a quarter view.
Since it's a roguelike, rather than "equipping yourself and leveling up," you'll need to carefully plan your strategy and play in a way that allows you to clear the game.
Although the game has an anime-like appearance, it is well-built and can be played for long periods of time.
Some people may not like the roguelike format, which is based on the premise of a game over, but it is also a very interesting action game, so I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
Ikaruga [Shooting Game]

Price: 980 yen
Rating: Very Positive (1,803)
A shooting game in which you switch between black and white, the attributes of your ship, to clear stages.
It can absorb bullets of the same attribute, and damage is doubled against enemies of the opposite attribute. The absorbed bullets are converted into energy, and when released, they become a homing laser...
In addition to these basic systems, the game is designed so that if you play under the same conditions during the game, you will definitely get the same result.
*If you fire a homing laser in the same scene with the same amount of energy, the enemy it will lure will always be the same.
The game system, story development, background music...all of these combine to create a gaming experience that will allow you to play a shooting game like no other before.
Katana ZERO [Cyberpunk + Action]

Price: 1,520 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (43,720)
A samurai in a cyberpunk world. I wonder how swords and samurai go together with such psychedelic colors!
The story itself is full of mysteries from the beginning, leaving you feeling strange and unsure whether this is a dream, reality, or a drug-induced hallucination.
The protagonist has the ability to see a little into the future, and uses this ability to progress through the stages.
Both enemy attacks and the protagonist's attacks will deal a single hit to each other if they hit. Be sure to study and predict routes and use objects to aim for a clear.
The controls are simple, but the difficulty level is high because one hit can result in game over. However, the replayability is high, so I didn't feel it was a problem.
NOVA DRIFT [Roguelike + Shooting]

Price: 1,520 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (7,360)
I think this is one of the most fun roguelike shooters out there.
Furthermore, it also has elements of a twin-stick shooter, which makes it seem like it's just a combination of popular genres, but that's not the case.
Because movement is subject to inertia, just controlling the aircraft can be difficult at first, but once you overcome this and are able to control it freely, the game becomes much more fun.
It's been a while since I last noticed it was already morning.
One Step From Eden [Deck Building + Roguelike]

Price: 2,050 yen
Rating: Very Positive (5,020)
Move quickly through the fields and use spells to adapt to the changing battle situation in real time!
I feel like I've seen this game screen somewhere before...
This game is a hit with the GBA generation, and can be said to be the pinnacle of deck-building roguelikes.
It requires careful deck construction and quick decision-making, but the ecstasy you feel when you clear it is immense.
Sometimes luck is involved, but that's part of the charm of roguelikes...
PowerWash Simulator

Price: 2,970 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (24,034)
As we all know, watching videos of cleaning using a pressure washer can help relieve stress.
The purpose of this work is to clean dirty houses, cars, etc.
Remove all types of dirt, from light, dry stains to stubborn dirt like mud.
You can change the water pressure by changing the nozzle, or use detergent to make it easier to remove dirt.
Use the money you earn from cleaning to purchase new equipment and increase your efficiency even more!
Salt and Sanctuary [Soul-like + 2D action]

Price: 1,780 yen
Rating: Very Positive (15,343)
This work is known as the 2D version of Dark Souls.
You will use the salt you collect to level up and do everything else, so acquiring salt is important to progress through the game with an advantage.
This salt can be obtained by defeating enemies or as an item along the way, but if you die you will lose all of the salt you have.
At higher levels, a large amount of salt is required just to level up by one, so even a single death results in a significant loss.
It's a fairly difficult game, but the high number of reviews proves that it's a fun game.
theHunter: Call of the Wild™ [Simulator]

Price: 2,050 yen
Rating: Very Positive (95,410)
FPS hunting simulator.
The game system is different from the traditional war-based FPS style of shooting guns.
Players take on the role of hunters who hunt animals and fight against nature.
They approach their prey by searching for animal tracks, cries, and other signs.
Hunt animals that live in a majestic and beautiful land in a realistically simulated world!
Persona 4 The Golden [RPG]

Price: 1,980 yen
Rating: Overwhelmingly Positive (50,318)
P4G, previously only available on Vita, is now available on Steam!
A complete port with online functionality included.
Starting with a murder case in a remote part of Japan, the protagonist becomes embroiled in a battle that will determine the fate of the world.
I hope you will experience this RPG, which has been made into various spin-off works and media mixes.
ATLAS titles are quite difficult even on normal mode, but the difficulty can be adjusted, making them a safe design.
Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth [Metroidvania]

Price: 2,200 yen
Rating: Very Positive (4,868)
A Metroidvania game starring Deedlit, a character from Record of Lodoss War.
This is an exploration action RPG in which players acquire new items and skills, allowing them to explore more areas and clear stages.
Since it is being produced by Team Ladybug, the pixel art moves smoothly and the game is guaranteed to be easy to use.
There are scenes where you have to overcome gimmicks by switching spirits or reflecting bows and arrows, so a certain amount of inspiration will be required.
The evaluation of the game will likely vary greatly depending on whether or not you're familiar with the original work, but it's a well-made vania title, so it's more than worth the price.
Molten Malfusha [Tower Defense]

Price: 790 yen
Rating: Very Positive (1,653)
It's hard to wage war.
It is a tower defense game in which you defend a gate from approaching enemies.
Defending a door ends the day and earns you a salary, which you can use to improve your stats and replenish your weapons.
However, the amount of deductions compared to the amount paid is quite severe, which makes you feel that the situation inside a country at war must be difficult.
Gameplay requires some skill in aiming, but more importantly, it is a casual title where drawing strengthening cards is crucial.
However, considering the price, it's an excellent value title.
Eastern Exorcist [Side-scrolling action game]

Price: 1,840 yen
Rating: Very Positive (5,497)
A side-scrolling action game with graphics reminiscent of Muramasa.
However, when I played it, I wondered if Sekiro was similar in terms of system.
It has all the controls you need to play an action game, including attack, dodge, defend, parry, and slash after parrying.
Because the game uses stamina, you must manage your stamina and use your resources effectively in battle, rather than just repeatedly attacking.
The difficulty level can be changed, so it is likely to be relatively easy to play even if you are not good at action games.
Ratings are one factor in game purchases
This time, we have introduced some recommended games, selecting only those with a certain number of reviews and high ratings.
However, reviews are ultimately personal opinions and impressions, and there are many works that I find interesting even if they are poorly rated by others.
I hope that the ratings will serve as a guideline when making your game purchase decisions.
Personally, I like to look through works that have received mixed reviews, but there are some that are just hopeless and others that I'm completely hooked on, so I feel that the best way to avoid regrets is to buy something that follows your heart.
