What exactly is Steam?
"I've heard of SteamSteam, but what exactly is it?"
To those of you who are wondering (are there any?)
There is an article that summarizes Steam's basic functions and how to set it up, so be sure to check that out first!
It's too late to ask now! Explaining everything from setting up Steam to installing games!
To explain it roughly:
"If you install the Steam app on your PC, you can purchase software from Steam, a website that sells PC games from all over the world, and you can manage and play games all in one place."
That's the story.
For those who have it, it was like preaching to the choir!
Recommended Software for the 2021 Steam Winter Sale
This time, we will introduce new titles released in 2021, semi-new titles released in 2020, and older titles released before that.
If you find any software that interests you, please add it to your wishlist.
MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA [Fighting Game]

MELTY BLOOD is back in the Reiwa era with a new release!
This work is different from the previous "MELTY BLOOD" is not an independent work, but the previously released "Tsukihime RemakeIt is positioned as a fighting game version of ".
Therefore, the story of the original MELTY BLOOD is unrelated, and the characters that appear are mainly from Tsukihime.

There are quite a few things to remember regarding the system, but it also incorporates systems aimed at fighting game beginners, making it a relatively easy fighting game to get into.
・Strong attack
・No burst
・The system that allows characters to be shared is strong
This is a great fighting game where it's easy to understand the actions you need to take to win.
Saber from Fate will be joining the game as a guest character, so if you're interested, be sure to check it out!

Zero: The Crow Shrine Maiden [Horror Adventure]

As a long-time fan, I recommend this work like a troublesome otaku.
The story unfolds with multiple protagonists switching between them, a first since Lunar Eclipse Mask.
This is a remaster of the game that originally came out on the Wii U, and it's really great to play a horror title like this with such beautiful graphics.

▲The way clothes become wet and see-through is perhaps the most expressive of all the games!
As you explore, you will sometimes find yourself fighting spirits, and this battle system is unique to the series and feels very well-designed.
The battle system, in which you use a camera called a projector to repel spirits, is excellent.
You need to capture the spirit firmly in the camera viewfinder → You have to stare at the horrifying spirit's appearance → Taking a photo at the wrong time can cause great damage → You need to observe the spirit closely to end the battle quickly...

Zero: Nuragarasu no Miko is packed with a variety of terrifying scenes, from chilling to shocking, and is recommended for those who want to enjoy it not only as a horror game but also as a game to be enjoyed to the fullest!
FINAL FANTASY V Pixel Remaster [RPG]

FF5, a masterpiece of the Heisei era and renowned as the best work of the SFC, is now available in a pixel remaster.
It is not a completely direct port, but adjustments have been made in various places to make it easier to play.
FF5 has been remastered and remade for various platforms, but this latest version is based on the SFC, so it will be a delight for longtime fans.

Considering that the original version was first exhibited around 30 years ago, there are some parts that seem a little outdated, but overall it is a very well-made piece.
Compared to modern RPGs, there are some parts that are unfriendly and the difficulty is a little high, so those playing this game for the first time should be prepared to a certain extent.

There are many addictive elements, so you can be sure that you will be able to play for a long time just by purchasing this one game. It is so popular that gameplay videos are still being uploaded, so why not take this opportunity to play it as a new release?
Back 4 Blood [FPS]

This work is the successor to "Left 4 Dead," one of the world's three greatest FPS games.
"L4D" is a cooperative zombie shooter FPS that has been a hit worldwide, and is often cited as one of the FPS games people have sacrificed sleep to play.
Cooperative play for up to four players and competitive play for up to eight players are also possible.
The graphics have also been improved from L4D, making this a thrilling title that will have you on the edge of your seat as you watch the onslaught of even more horrifying creatures.

At first glance, the difficulty level felt quite high, but once you get used to it, it will settle into the category of "a game with a reasonable level of difficulty."
As I was writing this, an announcement was made that "B4B has had an unintended increase in difficulty and will be fixed," so it will likely be easier for new shooters to play in the future.
Competitive FPS games are all the rage these days, so it's quite rare to see an FPS like B4B that focuses on cooperation.
It's fine to say, "Let's decide who's stronger!", but personally I really like cooperative games.
B4B is a new release and so does have some issues, but I think it will appeal to anyone who liked L4D, so depending on the sale price, I would definitely recommend it.

Molten Malfusha [Shooting]

What happens when a cute girl gets a gun?
Yes, justice will prevail.
Molten Malfusha is a wave-based defense shooter game.
The feeling of exhilaration as you take down enemies approaching at high speed is quite satisfying.

The game has a nostalgic atmosphere, but the detailed graphics make you feel immersed in the world of Malfusha.
The pixelated style of the graphics has become popular recently, but it doesn't feel old at all, and I think many players will find the pixelated feel quite comforting.

Going back to the original topic, if the formula of beautiful girls + firearms = justice is engraved in your soul, I would highly recommend you check out this work.
