The event has begun! We bring you a cosplay report
On September 25th, 2025, the world's largest gaming festival, Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS2025), finally kicked off at Makuhari Messe!
This year's TGS is the largest ever, with 1,136 companies and organizations from 47 countries and regions exhibiting. The venue has been filled with excitement since the first day as the latest games are announced and available for trial play.
In this article, we'll be focusing on cosplay, the highlight of the event! We'll be introducing the official cosplayers decorating the corporate booths along with some breaking photos.
Enhancing the cosplay environment at TGS2025
At this year's TGS2025,Two areas: the 9-hole East Area and the 2-hole West Areawill be open as a cosplay area.
It is also equipped with changing rooms and lockers, creating a more comfortable environment for cosplayers.

From here, we will introduce the official cosplayers who brightened up the company booths. Even though it was indoors, the atmosphere at the venue was quite lively. We will introduce the charms of the cosplayers who showed us their brightest smiles!

At each company booth, cosplayers of popular new game characters and popular titles were busy taking commemorative photos with visitors and promoting their works.
The colorful costumes and diverse performances are sure to excite the audience.
The ever-evolving cosplay culture at TGS
Although it's only the first day of the event, we've already had many wonderful encounters and discoveries!
On the public opening days starting on the 27th, even more cosplayers will be decorating the venue.
We are looking forward to seeing even more participants in a variety of cosplay on the public days (September 27th and 28th), so please stay tuned for further updates!
