Location of Tokyo Toy Show 2022

The Tokyo Toy Show has not been held for some time due to the effects of COVID-19, but this year's venue will be Tokyo Big Sight, just as it was before the show was suspended.

Until now, business meetings could be booked on the day, but this time, advance registration is required.
To enter, you need a QR code that you can get by applying in advance.

Additionally, while the first and second floors of the West Building have been used until now, this time only the first floor will be used, reducing the exhibition space.

Chogokin x Zoids Liger Zero

The much-hyped Chogokin Liger Zero, a collaboration between Bandai Spirits and Takara Tomy, is a big hit!
As soon as the ban was lifted at 11:30, people started pouring into the booth.

ユニトロボーン

Unitrobone, a new toy that boasts instant combination, was on display as a playable sample.
From what I've experienced, the lower priced items are simpler and more fun than the higher priced items.

ユニトロボーン

Ultraman

There was an exhibition of new Ultraman Decker products and goods sold in China.

Kamen Rider

There were DX toys and soft vinyl figures on display, but the one that really caught my eye was the Titan Sword.
It was quite large and very impressive.

Rider 1

Rider 2

ドンブラザーズ

In the Don Brothers corner, in addition to DX toys of additional warriors, there was also an exhibition of past robots.

Precure

There will also be an exhibition of PreCure's additional warrior toys (photography prohibited) as well as transformation items from past series.

超合金魂

The Soul of Chogokin exhibit featured Mazinger Z and a set of two mechanical beasts.

Tomica x Mobile Suit Gundam White Base

This is the Tomica White Base, a collaboration between Bandai Spirits and Takara Tomy.
There are also plans to include Gundam Tomica in the lineup, so will they be available on the Big Tray?

Bottleman DX

Bottleman DX is a new series of Bottleman that started this year.
There were several Bottlemen on display before their release, including CC Leon DX and Raid Brave DX.

Bottleman DX

Pokémon

There are several Pokemon Moncolle-related items, including trainer Moncolle.
There was also a new item on display aimed at girls, which photography was prohibited.

Transformers

There is no new information like this.
This may be the first time we have had the opportunity to see a sample of the MP Skyfire in person.
The Metroplex was so much bigger than the GF version.

ベイブレードバースト

In addition to the two Beyblades that will be released soon, there was also an exhibition of the Hello Kitty collaboration model that was announced recently.
I looked at the Kitty model from the side, but I couldn't tell what kind of customization it was...I'm sorry I don't have much knowledge about Bays.

Rizsta

Toys from Rhythm Star, the follow-up project to the Girls x Warriors series, will be on display.
There was no new information like this.

SORA-Q

There was also an exhibition of SORA-Q, a robot created as part of a project between JAXA and Takara Tomy.

Ensky

Ensky has suddenly announced a mysterious new hobby, Card Reviver, a toy that lets you shoot cards!
It seems that the cards to be thrown are assumed to be in sleeves.

SEGA TOYS

Sega Toys had exhibits such as Astro City Mini V and a dinosaur encyclopedia computer.
By the way, it seems that Sumikko Gurashi computer toys sold extremely well last year.

Happinet

Happinet's Bakuhyo Blizzard Spino is a radio-controlled Spinosaurus with glowing eyes and steam spewing from its mouth.
Kids will definitely have a blast receiving something like this!

Mega house

They were exhibiting My Illumi, a toy that allows you to create glowing dot art.
It looks fancy, but I think older guys would enjoy it too.

My Illumination 1

My Illumination 2

The first toy show in a long time was a huge success!

This toy show was held for the first time in a while, but there was a lot of excitement, including the announcement of collaboration products between Bandai Spirits and Takara Tomy.
It would be great if public days were set up from next year onwards and the area could return to its former lively state.

By the way, my favorite content

There was no Aikatsu! exhibit...
