I went to the Warhammer Cafe, which opened in Akihabara on December 3rd.

In December, as the end of the year approached, a Warhammer specialty store and cafe opened in Akihabara.
There are several Warhammer specialty stores opening across the country, but the opening of a store that also has a cafe attached is a rare opening even on a global scale.

I heard that a Warhammer Cafe had opened in my hometown of Akihabara, so I went to check it out right away.

What is Warhammer?

Warhammer is a British game companyゲームズワークショップ" is produced by "ミニチュアゲーム" is the series name.
Its unique feature is that the miniature units are unassembled and unpainted.
You can assemble this miniature yourself and paint it however you like.

It's about a 5-minute walk from the station and is a street-level store on the first floor.
Located just past AKIBA Cultures Zone, this is one of the largest stores in Asia where you can purchase Warhammer and related merchandise.

The store sells Warhammer-related merchandise and offers a cafe menu.
There is also a space where you can try painting, and paint it with Citadel colors.

A wide range of Warhammer works are on display inside the store

The Warhammer Store & Cafe-Tokyo in Akihabara is one of the largest in Asia, and the works on display were some of the largest and most impressive.
In Warhammer, the smallest humanoid miniature is converted to human size, and other units and structures are created based on that scale.

The buildings, vehicles, and other miniatures come in a variety of sizes, and by collecting a variety of them, you can make the world of Warhammer feel even larger.

It takes a lot of time to complete this, but the finished product looks amazing and has a big impact.

The cafe menu is reasonably priced and has a great Warhammer feel.

At the back of the store, you can order from a menu that depicts the world of Warhammer.

Since I was there, I decided to order the drink recommended by the staff.

Honestly...it's really delicious.
It's not too sweet and is easy to drink, and best of all, it's generous in size.
To be able to drink such a frappe for just 500 yen is so good that it's better to come all the way to Warhammer Store & Cafe than to order it at a regular coffee shop!
