Unicron Transformation Review

Let's start from the planet mode we completed last time!

First, remove the orbital ring.
I had gone to great lengths to install it the other day...

They all came off.

Next, open the top of the planet...

Flip the shell open...

Fold it.

Same at the bottom...

Fold it.

I did this on both sides and it ended up looking like the picture.

Turn the unit backwards.

Open the top rear panel.

Open the bottom panel...

Divide it into two.

Place the unit facing forward.

Fold the bottom panel that you just split into two and move it to the previous bottom panel.

Move the spike parts on the arms downwards.

Unlock the front spike part and move it 90 degrees along with the large horn.

The arm parts holding the legs...

開きます。
I'm so scared of breaking it that I feel like crying, but I use a lot of force to do it.

The instructions say to tilt the arms down next, but the click at the shoulders is quite stiff and I almost cried again.

If you rotate your shoulder in this state, it may put strain on the panel circled in red and cause it to break, so it is better to move your arm away and fold the panel before rotating your shoulder.

So, by folding the panel and fixing the shoulder, the arm transformation is complete.

Next, transform the legs.

Remove the leg lock...

Open your toes and heels!

Put your legs down...

Lower the waist panel.
It's starting to take shape!

The front panel...

Rotate it at the base and bring it to the back.

Then fold the panel.

The part circled in red holds the folded panels together and secures them to the back.
This part is pretty amazing!
This is probably the MVP of the Unicron back part.

All that's left is to secure the messy panels on the legs.

Do this with both legs.

If you've come this far, you've finally reached the climax!

Slide the arm parts to transform the hands.

Head on that head that's lying around!!

Finally, attach the orbital ring to your shoulder...
I'm so tired lol. The transformation is now complete!
As I had heard, it took about an hour to transform.
There are many hard clicks to support the weight, and you have to be careful not to break them, so it takes a lot of physical and mental strength.
It's truly a "transformation that puts your life at risk."
Unicron Robot Mode Review

In robot mode, the arms and legs can be moved and the mouth can be opened.

It's huge compared to Mattel's 23-inch Voltron.

It might be hard to get a sense of the size of Voltron, so I had him hold an A4 magazine.
Can you get a general idea of the size?
Unicron is seriously huge
This time, after transforming it into robot mode, I put it back in the box, but I'm feeling like I never want to play with it again.
It was a toy that was that difficult to transform.
However, both forms are incredibly cool and give you a great sense of ownership, so I recommend displaying them.
With the announcement of the Ark and the self-transforming Optimus Prime, it looks like Transformers will continue to be a hot topic.
